Some rather mild rants.

I'm in a ranty mood tonight. In no particular order and directed at nobody in particular, some things that annoy me:

1. Backing into a parking space. More and more people are doing this, but to me it seems harder, not easier.
2. Knitting injuries. I poked a hole in my index finger with a needle, and now I can't work on this sock.
3. Playing spider solitaire for three hours straight. I am powerless against it.
4. Customized LJ entry pages, especially the ones that are very pretty but damn near impossible to read.
5. Not having an extra $40 in the budget for a mani-pedi.
6. People who write "40$" instead of the proper way. Huh? Also, people who don't capitalize.
7. The person bitching on a FNL message board that it's not on NBC, so she can't watch it. If not for DirecTV (which I don't have), season three wouldn't even exist. Idiot.
8. Creating drama just for the sake of argument because it's "fun".
9. Deep, soulful acoustic singer-songwriters. I can totally see the merit and appeal, but they're starting to drive me crazy.
10. Sitting on the Starbucks patio at midnight because it's a quiet place to write, then a group of loud, drunk women sit at the table next to mine.

Whew. Ranting doesn't necessarily make me feel any better, but that was fun. And now an extra-big linkspam....
