AHHHH WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY FACE

At least it makes it easier to shovel food in to my mouth. And give face high fives. And hold beer right next to my face for easy drinking. And holding hands while cuddling. And touching peoples eyes. Boy I love face hands.

Travdventure. It's like travel, but an adventure too!

Some time ago I embarked on a fantastic journey, which which I have recently arrived home.

Here are some things that happened to me on that journey.

PS. Sarah: You definitely need to listen to Say Anything. Try to get your hands on the songs Woe, Admit it, and Metal Now, but everything by them is good.

Coming soon to Australia:

not me

I would say something more profound but it's all in my head and probably wont come out. Needless to say I'm having an amazing time. Parties and snowboarding and hanging and just a bit of working seems like a pretty good combination. Oh yeah, and the whole 'coffee boy' thing is working pretty well over here too.

To everyone I love and miss, you know who you are, and I wish you were here. Everyone else stinks like a wet rag.

Ps. Everyone here speaks spanish. Que pasa?

Woooaaaah california.

Basically this is awesome. Are there any east coast americans reading this who can give me the sweet hook ups? I want to see as much of this country as I can in the 30 days I have when I finish work.

For everyone I haven't spoken to yet, I'm having an amazing time and loving every minute of this.

oh snap

Well livejournal friends and haters, most of you probably know this already, but I thought I should make sure we're square.

I'm ditching this country and going to live in the USA for 5 months, leaving next thursday. I am so pumped, and a little weirded out. It's hard to believe that in one week and one day I'll be living in a different country, chilling out in LA for a little while, then going over to Tahoe to work at Heavenly ski resort. I'm not going to be a ski instructor like everyone assumes, I'll be working in a cafe of some sort on the mountain. The resorts website is www.skiheavenly.com, it just all seems so cool.

I'm working for 4 months, then I get 30 days travel grace at the end, so if anyone has any advice as to what I should do for that month I'd love to hear it.

I put on my coat and jacket and ran to the car. The handle. Where is the handle. The rain pelts down harder, filling up the fur lined pockets of my jacket. I wont be needing them where I'm going, I think, and remember I've forgotten what I'm doing. Fuck. There's no handle on my door. Whatever. I pretend there is and jam my hand into the metal, which gives way to my fingers and slides around them. I barely know what I'm doing until I feel the latch inside and lift it. I'm in. I'm off. I'm gone.

At least the road is normal. Was normal. I left my tenses behind, I cant even tell when I am anymore. Soviet Russia flies past the window. We dont talk anymore. I kind of miss her, but when countries change, the part of them you loved can become so mangled you dont even know what it is you do love anymore. Times change. Time changes. Change, change. Where is my change. Only notes. Gonna have to use the change given toll booth. Oops too late, a broken toll gate and a few honks later and I'm at where I was going. Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. So I arrive and walk up to the door, then get out of my car and ring the bell. It's snowing now, and the water in my pockets has turned to ice. It's getting heavy, and it kind swings around a bit when I run. Goddamnit where is he, as I kick down the door.

I'm running and running and there is the window and I'm out. I'm out of here and now I'm falling. Maybe if I ditch the ice I'll be ok. Nope, didn't help, and the ground is getting closer. The words throw baby flash by my mind but I cant make heads or tails of it. Bang. That wasn't so bad. But it's raining out.

I put on my coat and jacket and run to the car.
