doctor who and a meme

DONNA + MARTHA = BEST COMPANIONS EVAH!!!!!   Loved how they interacted and both took the mickey out on the Doctor.  Martha's engaged!!  We need to get hot Dr Tom back on the show!  SuperTemp Donna was brilliant.  The way Gramps and Donna's mom both remember the Doctor was perfect.  The evil clone is just a sci-fi cliche but I don't care.  I'm just pissed we have to another week for part 2!  Damn those cliffhangers!

And I seriously can not look at the Unit red caps without thinking of Ianto.

Seeing how quickly Donna and Martha got along, I'm now curious how both of them will react to meeting Rose and vice versa (I'm assuming they will at some point).  CT said that since Donna has no romantic feelings for the Doctor, she doesn't view Martha as "a threat".  And with Martha having gotten over her crush, she's secure enough to not get jealous and can crack jokes about how quickly she was replaced.  Both of them know how important Rose was to the Doctor.   Rose, on the other hand, pretty much became a jealous teenager when she first met Sarah Jane and realized she wasn't the Doctor's first companion.  Would she be the same when she meets her successors?  I hope not.  The writers have done a good job maturing both Donna and Martha, let's hope the same goes for Rose.

8 random facts/habits....

(1)  Temperature-wise, I prefer it to be on the cooler side.  Low-20's is perfect for me.  I can deal with the cold but heat just kills me, I get so uncomfortable when it's hot.

(2)  In the same vein as above, going to a beach and doing nothing but lying in the sun is NOT my idea of a vacation.  I did it once -- went to the Bahamas with a couple of friends as our graduation present and for a couple of days, it rained in the morning and then the afternoon would be spent on the beach.  I was bored out of my bloody mind.  I think I spent most of that time back inside the hotel room watching television.

(3)  I have very few memories from my early childhood.  I'm so impressed by those who can remember things from the age of 4 or something.  I was 6 when my youngest brother was born and I don't remember it.  You would think a 6 year old would remember something as monumental as having another baby in the house but nope, not me.

(4)  I rarely go anywhere without my mp3 player.  The second I come home, either the tv or the radio gets turned on.  In the car, same thing.

(5)  I have way too much stuff like lotions, shampoos, hair products, etc.  For some reason, I love buying that stuff but then it takes me so long to use it all.  For the past few months, I literally had to stop myself from buying more.

(6)  I have never eaten a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  It's the jelly part.  Never liked jelly or jam.  And the thought of the 2 together... ew.

(7)  I'm developing the very bad habit of falling asleep on the couch, waking up at 2am, fumbling around and turning off the tv and lights before crawling into bed.  The strange part is that my couch is very uncomfortable.

(8)  I am currently addicted to this typing game (yea, you read right.  Typing.)  Stupid co-worker for passing on the link.
