$2 seat tuesday

Shouting matches.  T-shirts being taken off.  Beer thrown.  Empty water bottles thrown.  Fights.  Cops.  Ejections.  Girls flashing their boobs.

Ah, just a quiet night at the baseball game.

Too bad we lost by a run in the 10th inning after tying the game with an awesome 2-run homer in the bottom of the ninth.

Note to self:  Don't go to baseball games on $2 seat night and sit up in level 500 with the hundreds of high school/university boys who get stupider with each beer they drink.

I haven't squee'd about the premier of Doctor Who yet so *squeeeeeee*.  Absolutely loved it.  I'm just so happy it's back!   The miming between Donna and The Doctor had me in hysterics.  I also loved the fact that Donna had luggage!  The Adipose were so cuuuuuute.  Is it wrong that I would totally sign up for that weight loss program?  The Adipose gets a whole bunch of little babies and I lose a bunch of weight.  It's a win-win.  :P  The last scene with Donna waving to her grandfather was just so lovely.

Jesus, looks like you were in some circle of hell!

I knooow, I'd totally take one of those pills, man. Although it is kinda disgusting to have cute little beings forming out of your body, I guess... But one kilo a day? Hell yeah!
I think I love Donna. She's...different. And gramps is made of awesome! =D

It's just groups of boys + alcohol = stupidity.

But, from what I understand, the transformation is supposed to happen at night when you're sleeping so you wouldn't even have to see it. :)

I love Donna cause she's older and isn't afraid to tell The Doctor off when necessary. Is it Saturday yet?

Yeah. Alcohol tends to stupidify people in general. (Except me, I get happy)

You're right, if you can't see it, it never happens. =P

That's what I love about Donna too. Every time he gets cocky she beats him down a notch, just to keep him in his place. I just hope, I really, really hope that she stays that grounded and doesn't get all *flail* and *sigh* over the doctor in the future! That would ruin it for me...

While I've never been a Rose fan, I am wondering how RTD is gonna explain how Rose can now seemingly move between parallel worlds.

Oh my. I forgot about the Flames. Yea, GOOD LUCK.

If the Leafs ever win... well, anything, this city will go INSANE.

I think 2 more weeks til new Supernatural? Can't come fast enough. I'm barely watching any TV nowadays other than what I download.

[clucks sympathetically] Too bad about the ball game.

When I first hit the city (about a decade ago now) I used to spend a lot of time in the nosebleed seats. It's a cheap way to spend a night out...and, um, I guess a lot of people still think of it that way.

It really is a crapshoot, sometimes you end up surrounded by the most amazing, fun people and sometimes...well, yeah. Don't remember there ever being actual police though. Hey, maybe you made the papers!

Oh, it made the papers. One of the guys noticed an article in The Post about there was approx 100 ejections that night. They considered getting rid of $2 Tuesdays all together and then decided to just not sell beer on the 500 level. You know that's just going to encourage people to sneak liquor in (which quite a few people do now).
