So that movie quote meme is going around again and since I'm here at work bored, thought I would participate. Since I already did this meme back here, just fyi, I won't be using any of the same movies.

Oh, and I'm gonna try that comment screening thing just so everyone gets a fair shot.

Movie #1   Toy Story
-- I've set my laser from stun to kill
-- Oh great. If anyone attacks, we can blink 'em to death

Movie #2  It's a Wonderful Life
-- What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon, Mary

Movie #3  The Sound of Music
-- Fraulein, is it to be at every meal, or merely at dinnertime, that you intend on leading us all through this rare and wonderful new world of indigestion?

Movie #4  Juno
-- Did you see that coming?
-- Yea, but I was hoping she was expelled or into hard drugs
-- That was my first instinct too. Or a DUI... anything but this!

Movie #5  The Day After Tomorrow
-- Friedrich Nietzsche? We can't burn that! He's one of the most important thinkers in the 19th century!
-- Please. Neitzsche was a chauvinist pig who was in love with his sister
-- He was not a chauvinist pig!
-- But he was in love with his sister
-- Uh, excuse me, guys? Yeah, we got a whole section on tax laws down here we can burn

Movie #6  About a Boy
-- I'd be the worst possible Godfather. I'd probably drop her on her head at her christening. I'd forget all her birthdays until she was 18. Then I'd take her out and get her drunk. And, let's face it, quite possibly try and shag her

Movie #7  Hairspray
-- I'm very pleased and scared to be here

Movie #8  Serenity
-- This landing is gonna get pretty interesting
-- Define "interesting"
-- Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die?

Movie #9  Finding Nemo
-- Dude? Dude? Focus dude... Dude? Oh, he lives. Dude!
-- Oh... what happened?
-- Saw the whole thing, dude. First you were all like "whoa", and we were like "whoa", and you were like "whoa..."
-- What are talking about?
-- You, Mini-Man, takin' on the jellies. You've got serious thrill issues, dude. Awesome.
-- Oh, my stomach. Ohhhh...
-- Hey, no hurling on the shell, dude, ok? Just waxed it.

Movie #10  The Truman Show
-- Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening and good night

Movie #11  The Bourne Identity
-- You're US government property. You're a malfunctioning $30 million weapon. You're a total goddamn catastrophe, and by God, if it kills me, you're going to tell me how this happened

Movie #12  Sixteen Candles
-- I can't believe my grandmother actually felt me up

Movie #13  Bridget Jones' Diary
-- Just as you are? Not thinner? Not cleverer? Not with slightly bigger breasts or slightly smaller nose?

Movie #14  Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
-- Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?

Movie #15  Transformers
-- You can't put jewellery on a boy dog. He's got enough self esteem issues being a Chihuahua
-- That's his bling!

Movie #16  Mary Poppins
-- Our first game is called "well begun is half done"
-- I don't like the sound of that
-- Otherwise entitled, "let's tidy up the nursery"
-- I told you she was tricky

Movie #17  The Devil Wears Prada
-- You look so thin
-- Really? It's for Paris. I'm on this new diet. Well, I don't eat anything and when I feel like I'm about to faint I eat a cube of cheese. I'm just one stomach flu away from my goal weight

Movie #18  The Shawshank Redemption
-- Let me tell you something my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane.

Movie #19  The Usual Suspects
-- How do you shoot the devil in the back? What if you miss?

Movie #20  The Dead Poet's Society
-- "I sound my barbaric yawp over the rooftops of the world"

I can't guess any quotes right now because all the blood has left my brain. The lack of strikethrough means you haven't seen Casablanca? Please rectify that at your earliest convenience. I'd say North By Northwest too, because I watch that every time it's on too, but this ski trip, my cousin's wife said, "I don't get why that's a classic". Gasp. Maybe it's not for everyone.

OK, I'll take a shot at the movie quotes (surprisingly only think I know 5, although some sound really, really familiar...)

#3 - Sound of Music?
#9 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
#14 - Snakes on a Plane? (yeah, going for the obvious)
#15 - Transformers
#17 - The Devil Wears Prada

And wow, you haven't seen Bladerunner??????? It's classic, a must-see! I heavily recommend you put that to the top of your list... :)

Not the Turtles but Finding Nemo (although the conversation was with a turtle so close!) and #14 was Indy's intense dislike of snakes.

I have a vague recollection of Bladerunner, I think I have seen it but it was so very long ago and I don't remember a thing about the movie.
