Busy the summer

Ah, the summer! The summer is here!

June 5th, Saturday: Arts Alive! The Ink People are having a "PURPLE" show at the Adorni center, which I will clearly have to go see. TS article HERE. Ryan has also promised his friend Kati that we'll be doing Arts Alive! because we missed it last month. We may be doing dinner with some of their friends as well.

June 11th, Friday: Silas and Super-Kate are having their handfasting at 6:00 PM, with a delicious pot luck to follow. Hooray! I will need to figure out some sort of gift thing for them (what do you get for happy people who seem to need nothing?) and make wild rice salad for the pot luck.

June 12th, Saturday: Christa's "fête d'adieux: Bon Voyage!" party at 7pm at syd___'s. There will be carbombs, well wishes, and goodbyes. Sean is having a graduation party and Jillian is having a birthday party, both on the same night, so we had to choose just one.

June 19th, Saturday: OYSTER FESTIVAL. Yeeeehaw! The Oyster Festival is going go be amazing and delicious and full of oysters and people and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm going. I know I won't regret it. I think I get paid the day before too!

June 24th, Thursday to June 27th, Sunday: Mom! Rachel will be flying out to see the family the week previous, and is going to come over and get me on the 24th. I have a dental appointment at 12:00 PM for a cleaning, and I'll plan to be totally ready to go after that. Ryan is then going to drive my car out to Mom's after he gets off work on Friday. Ryan and I will drive back Sunday, and I'll go to work. I'll need to get ahold of the Tooleys about what they've got for honey, and sync up with all these mead makers.

July 3rd, Saturday: Phil Elcok (gigglesnort) and Danielle Jacobson are getting married at Arrington Apples, 3pm. Wee!

July 14th, Wednesday to July 28th, Wednesday: penguingod and pyracies are going to be here, and I'm taking the whole time off of work. I'm working on a highly detailed schedule, but part of that includes camping....

July 22, Thursday to July 26, Monday: Camping?!?! Using Libby's awesome connections, these are the projected dates for camping at Ruth Lake. It's gonna be huge, oh is it ever.

August 9th, Monday through August 13th, Friday: Jaz Kidz, Inc. goes to Disneyland. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I get to be part of taking all these awesome clients to Disneyland! Free and paid! Jaz is paying for air fare to and from, hotels for the entire time, and all of our meals. OMGZ.

Portland: Dates should probably be set now, but the weekend of the 8th of July or the 7th of August are looking better. Ryan and I will need to get some detail down.

August 17th: Fall Semester at Humboldt State University begins.

(no subject)

I took a History Exam earlier this morning, at that was the very last task needed for me to complete College of the Redwoods with my Associates in Behavior and Social Sciences.  Unless I end up taking CR classes through Humboldt State University, I am finished with CR.  Victorious moments from this semester include writing a paper in 4 hours and getting 100% on it, power going out during a sex exam, and never getting enough sleep.

Since it's only and AS, I decided not to walk.  I am, however, wearing my honors cord and tassel around the house.  I am also drinking a little... because if I'm going to celebrate alone, I'm going to have fun doing it.  There is a possibility of later coffee-shop travels.

I have a few months now where I can pay attention to the many other things in my life.  I began this by doing the dishes.  YAY DISHES.

Delicious, delicious summer plans.  Thus far, these events are set to occur.

May 28th - 31st: Memorial Day Camping at Hayward Flat Campground (http://www.campersonline.com/haywardflat.html)
July 14th - 28th: penguingod  and his lovely fiance will be visiting the great Lost Coast.  Party time.  I'm taking all of it off of work.

These events need to occur, but do not yet have a date:
The Bunny Picnic - a camping trip (probably at Ruth Late at Libby's suggestion http://www.ruthlakecsd.org/)
Visiting vampyrecat , vajrabot , victortenzin , and charlotelucinda  in Portland.
Visiting my Mom & Griff inland in Shasta.
Visiting my Mom & Griff inland in Shasta v. 2.

Otherwise, beading, cleaning, applying for scholarships.  I want to deep clean every room in the house.

So, the ER turned out to be "nothing", but some tests came back with something else negative. Fortounatly, it's easy enough to deal with.

You know that David and I will be back for the summer. What you don't know is we might be back for longer than the summer. I feel both elated and terrified. It's not that she'll wear on me, it's that she'll wear on him... I wish I could just slap some bloody emapthy into her. (At least one of you know's who I mean.) I can't help that living in Hum again, at least for a while, would make me happy. You people, that's why.
There's also the possiblity of going to CR for the fall, something that also makes me feel good. But his head... I'm worried.

I suppose the eviction notice doesn't matter all that much, as we're already leaving. The roomate is still frustrating though.

It doesn't help that I'm just flat out cranky right now, either.

tulpa_team : When are you coming state-side?
jeriah : Lets plan on having a pool party once you come back from Japan.
alt255 : Have you ever seen Reboot?  Saturday morning cartoon from a while back?
vampyrcat and varjabot : If you want, I'll give you the entire Paranoia Agent series... but it's only compy watchable.
penguingod : Summer tour plans?

It'll be good not to feel as lonely anymore, but is that any good reason to put his head at risk?  Gads, I need some advice on how to deal with her so I don't just poison her drinks.

GAH!  I think I ought to go on the roof and scream, but I won't.
