Milk was a bad decision

So, my life has taken a turn. For the worse? Maybe. But I am nothing if not optimistic, so I think I'll be ok. One step forward, two steps  back and what not.

I'm taking a semester off school.

Well, sort of. I can't afford to live in West Lala and go to school at the same time. I've got to go home for four months and save some dollars and go to school in *shudder* Ft. Wayne.

I know what you're thinking, "But, Katie, you hate A*town!"

Acknowledged. I also hate Ft. Wayne.

But I can live rent free in my parents humble abode. And so I'll endure. In case you all weren't aware, being poor sucks very much. Very, very much.

I'm pretty sure I don't have any tears left at this point. Like, I actually used my tear-maker so much it broke. Kaput. And, being poor, I can't afford a new motherboard for my tear-maker. Though, when you think about it, isn't so bad. When I cry I get all splotchy and blood shot and snotty and bro. ken. sent. ence. y- definitely not a pleasant sight.  Due for a dry spell I'd say.

My new mantra, to be repeated every 7 minutes: "It's only four months."

OH! Speaking of being all emo! drama! Irish!, I have recently (read: tonight) discovered The Black Donnellys. I've only seen the first episode, but I'm gonna have to invest some time into watching the rest. It's amazing. Seriously, I wasn't really sure whether it was appropriate to laugh or cry (well, dry-sob. see above.). Especially the ending of the pilot. I'm pretty sure I went from emotional to laugh out loud so fast in the last minute or so that I got whiplash. It's what we in the business call *Sob*Bwahaha* Syndrome. It can be very dangerous. I'm lucky to be alive.

I'm gonna go snuggle with my dog now.
