A tragedy of epic proportions.

Imagine a childhood without Lego. Go on, try and imagine it. It's tragic, no?

Well that tragedy could soon become [ a horrible reality ].

In a world filled with "bratz dolls", crappy japanese collectable whatchamacallits, and still more rehashes of the same insipid marvel 'superhero' action figures, the idea that one of the most engaging and creatively inspiring toys in living memory could be in financial trouble surely spells the end of days.

Do, your, part. Ignore the knee-jerk movie/tv licensed Lego monstrosities that are filled with one off non-connecting pieces. Buy yourself, your children, your nephews, your nieces, your cousins, or even your parents, the oldschool traditional Lego.

Keep the dream alive.

It's up to us to make sure that the toys of future generations are more than just afternoon-tv-tie-in vapid money spinners with little in the way of genuine creative possibilities.

Embrace the brick, be it fabuland, castle themed, space themed, technic themed, city themed, duplo, or even just the square brick.

Don't let this,

become a faded memory.

You've gotta fight, for your right, to Lego.
