I'm an obtuse man, so I'll try to be oblique

My six and a half month "vacation" is about to come to an end, because I'm starting school again Monday at San Diego City College. That's a comedy college. And comedy college is what I like to call community college because I'm a stuck up, insecure prick. Anyway, I'm probably going to be going there until I find a job, because there's no other way for me to access health insurance.

  • AODS 152 - Physiology and Pharmacology of Psychoactive Drugs
  • CBTE 140 - Microsoft Excel
  • CHEM 152 - Introduction to General Chemistry
  • CHEM 152L - Introduction to General Chemistry (Lab)
  • SOCO 110 - Contemporary Social Problems

  • Monday is going to be exhausting because I'll have two lectures in the morning (starting at eight o'clock) and lab in the afternoon (until half past four or so). At least it'll be at the beginning of the week. I only have one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and that Excel class is 100% online. And no class on Fridays. I'd rather have no class on Mondays, but what are you gonna do? I guess I should be grateful that I have a day off, but fuck that.

Anyway, my schedule would be significantly more challenging and worthwhile this semester if The College Board hadn't bungled the processing of my old AP scores, which I requested weeks ago. I went down to school today to check on that and hopefully enroll in some more advanced science classes (because once upon a time, I passed the AP Chemistry exam), but they haven't been delivered yet.

I'm not sure they'll be delivered at all. When I called, I got a machine that told me their offices are only open during standard business hours eastern standard time. That's really helpful for people on the west coast, ya lazy pricks. DERR I'M THE COLLEGE BOARD I ADMINISTER THE SAT AND ALL THE AP TESTS I HAVE A CAPTIVE MARKET I DON'T HAVE ANY COMPETITION EITHER DERRRR. I'm worried that this won't be ironed out before I lose my opportunity to shuffle my schedule.

Ultimately, though, I don't know what I'm going to do. No one has contacted me for a job interview since last September. I'm taking a practice LSAT in a couple of weeks, and I've been thinking about just staying in school for a couple of more years to prepare myself for some other type of graduate program like a Ph.D in Economics or medical school. Advanced training of some kind seems like a great idea to me now. It didn't before. Yadda yadda yadda.
