Codex Sinaiticus
Typin' Monkey
gabe_
I guess I'm a part of the 1% of the population that thinks it really really cool that the British Library has scanned the oldest known copies of the bible... complete with 3rd century corrections and non-canonical sections/books.

Wikipedia has an article on it that helps fill in the back story of it's discovery and subsequent sale/theft by biblical scholars.

The website with the scanned images keeps crashing. It's either a bandwidth issue, or they don't know how to write XML.

"The website with the scanned images keeps crashing."

It's because of god.

(btw NEATO!)

That is really cool.

Thanks for sharing.

If God were truly omnipotent he wouldn't let the website crash.
