no wonder square enix ain't what they used to be

All of its greatest talent, including Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and star composer Nobuo Uematsu, is working for other companies now. No word on who Yasunori Mitsuda is working for these days, though he's allegedly still producing heart-rendingly beautiful music.

Which raises the question of who's making our beloved Final Fantasy series now.

(edit) We can breathe easy a bit--the guy who produced Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III is still vice prez. That still doesn't explain why FFX sucks.
