Swedish trance artist Basshunter wrote an incredibly silly song about his favorite IRC bot on QuakeNet. Inexplicably, it topped the Swedish eurodance charts.

How did such a nerdtacular song become so popular in the mainstream? Wikipedia thinks it's because most of Sweden didn't understand the lyrics, thinking they're about a boat. lol n00b rofl

There also exists a hilarious, cleverly edited, incredibly depressing anti-geek parody of this video.

Basshunter has also apparently done a song about DotA.
