Current Music: Cake - I Will Survive
Drop by Shipherd Lounge (in Asia House) this Friday between 4 to 9 PM if you want to see what all the angry technogibberish ranting on this journal has been about. All the projects from the Creative Writing senior colloquium class will be on display, in some form or other. We're all doing stuff with unconventional media, so it's bound to be interesting. There will be a reception thing at 7.

As an added bonus, if you're planning on going and you tell me early, it'll motivate me to make this project extra super awesome.

For the negative three of you I haven't told about it yet: It's called Symphony in C. It's a poem in C and C++. When compiled, it becomes a short slideshowy movie of itself, set to the first movement of Beethoven's 5th. The idea is to demonstrate how programming languages blur the distinction between form and function, and at the same time bring out the inherent poetic beauty of code in a form that laypersons can appreciate.

Over Her Dead Body is screening again this Thursday!

It's that silent black and white lesbian vampire zombie romance action horror movie Carly and Desiree directed. Features:

  • Jon Good fighting vampires with a stop sign!
  • Sexy Mudd reference librarians!
  • That weird crypt thing by the Arb!
  • Oblique references to Buffy the Vampire Slayer!
  • Breasts!

I play the zombie in the Hawaiian shirt. Go see it--it is awesome.
