If the Apollo doesn't change films tomorrow, anyone up for seeing March of the Penguins? Showings are at 7:30 and 9. If they do change, I guess we can go see whatever they're showing instead.

I could go see it alone, but that would make me feel like the protagonist in some Oscar-bait art film.

This is the fourth volume in a PBS documentary box set I found at Campus Video. That picture is so tasteful, yet says so much about universal trends in human sexuality. All of these men probably believe they are acting out of independent choice, but their identical response to the same stimulus belies their obedience to instinct. Even I stared at the woman for a good twenty or thirty seconds before I noticed the men in the background. I don't know why, but that amuses me intensely.

I would rent it if it wasn't part of a four-video box set. (The covers of the other three videos depict non-human animals copulating.)
