|How I spent my Thanksgiving weekend...

...mostly playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, of course!
So far, I'm liking it a lot more than Origins in terms of having the more engaging main story. They also structured the side quests much better so that they're actually not bad to complete plus I don't feel as bad turning down/not completing side quests. Those two main changes are enough for me to overlook the combat (still not great), sailing (still terrible), and super detailed RPG elements (there's just too much! - not a huge RPG person).
I made little progress in my subbing. It's good that I only have four more episodes to go because fatigue is setting in. At this point, I'm pretty sure I'll finish. But I'm definitely not at the pace I was when I started. Writing was also okay, although my reading has come to a halt thanks to sudoku. No more bedtime sudoku!
In drama news, we're reaching the end of Fights Break Sphere but you wouldn't know it by the pacing and the oddly misplaced mainland Chinese humor. I'm still in the beginning of Legend of Fu Yao but I'm getting mighty annoyed with the Goblet of Fire-like school competition. Let's get back to Ethan Ruan, his smirk face, and his CGI gerbil (I can't believe I look forward to that!). I don't care about wishy-washy senior brother and his hag junior sister story line at all.
