Continuing the adventure of trying to quickly finish a drawing using only the pen tool and gradients. And what an adventure it is — an adventure in not shoving my hands into a blender! I can’t tell if it’s the fact that I only get to work on this ugly baby of mine toward 1 AM (since I need to borrow a photoshop capable computer — and it is hardly capable at that), or if it’s the unintuitive practice of using only the pen/gradient tool, or the most likely scenario; my sheer fumbly fail-ness that is making this so difficult. But whatever it is, this image — which was supposed to be a speedily done thing — is taking forever.
It certainly doesn’t help that I can’t figure out underwater lighting nor volume. Seriously, a shark should not be this difficult to map planes of light on. Sharks don’t even have that many wobbly, sticky-outy, finangly parts. I dunno what my problem is. (Like always, sleep dep. is an industry standard acceptable answer).
Oh, and PS: can you tell it is 5 AM? Because I can. I can just feel my coherency jumping out a window. Anyway, updated my WIP gallery with this guy, whined a bit, and gave you a quick touch base, my dear Blog. Now it’s off to bed with me, so we can have another lovely day full of awkward English, typos, and regrets tomorrow! Goodnight, my dear!
