So, now that we've come to the end of 'Kali-rewriting-old-chapters-and-updating-whenever-she-feels-like-it', we reach 'Kali-writing-new-chapters-and-updating-sporadically-because-she-cannot-write.' Personally, I think I liked the first stage.

I mentioned this before, but I have had a rather astoundingly strong writer's block for... well, the entire summer. How annoying is that? The one time I can actually stay up until 2 AM writing and I don't, because I cannot think of anything. I've started a few things, but invariably I write a page and then I lose track of what I was saying and my semi-eloquence fades to nothing. It's awful, and it's really begining to annoy me. Er. Any suggestions?

In fact, the only thing I've written and completed since the begining of summer has been my Scrivenshaft entry, and I'm not even very pleased with it. *dies* Ah, well.

As far as Silly Love Songs is concerned, I'm not sure when I'll be finished the next chapter, because I am not the write-an-outline type person, although I rather wish I was. Plotlines just sort of float around in my head and because I'm an idiot, sometimes I plunge into them without a clear resolution in store. I must admit, if nothing more, it makes me appreciate authors much more, Rowling in particular because seven books is a lot, and there are so many plot details that really, I'm sure they'd slip my mind in a flash.

I do have ... let me see... about 13 pages written of the next chapter, but I still need to tie it off and I'd like to have some sort of idea where to go from there.

I suppose, just to show you I haven't died yet, I'll give you a little preview of what's to come:

Yep. So I'm not dead, but there are relatives coming for the weekend, so don't expect to hear from me for a bit. Not that you probably were, anyway.
