fic/fandom journal vs personal journal
I'm thinking of starting up a journal just for fandom squee-ing and the fic I occationally post, separate from this one. I seem to be using this journal more and more as an outlet for all my personal wank&such, and I know of at least a couple people on my flist that friended me for the fic and squeeage.

Anyone have any opinions?

Re: eh
It seems like that's the concensus. Just f-lock the posts that aren't fannish, and I should be ok.

(Is it just me, or does "f-lock" look naughty?)

I'd say keep them on the same one. Just flock all of the personal stuff. That said, if you do get a second account, make that one the personal one and keep this one as the fandom / fic account.

And with that said, are you sufficiently paranoid about your flist? Would Some People be able to get around it through clever use of friends-of-friends? Probably the best approach for personal posts that you want to keep hidden from Some People would be to just talk to them directly. Or keep an actual dead-tree diary thing, rather than anything online.

(Ambiguity clarification: the best approach for personal posts that you want to keep hidden from Some People would just be to talk directly to people whose opinions you want. I did not mean to imply you should talk to Some People or to the posts themselves (which would be weird). Blah. I need to edit my posts more better.)

I got what you meant, though I gave the first post a confused look and decided it didn't mean what I thought it meant at first.

That's a messy sentence.

Anyway, I think you're right. Just f-lock personal posts. Besides, I have enough trouble maintaining one journal.
