- Simulacrum, by Ken Liu: I came across this because I reviewed it over on Critters; I was agog - it's a brilliant story. I wasn't surprised that it was sold in short order, and I was very pleased it was sold to a free online e-zine, so I could link folks to it :)
- Deeds of Men, by Marie Brennan: It's a fae murder mystery. And it's a good one. 'nuff said.
