(7 Broke the Mould Individuality)

oO_' [23 Sep 2005|12:04am]
That age old situation.
Of knowing exactly what you want, but not knowing how to go about getting it.
Dilemma dilemma dilemma.

Not much to post about really.
I'm not sure if i posted my AS level results?

English Literature and Language: A
Psychology: A
Law: B
Media: C

I'm going to see Land of the dead on Saturday since George A.Romero is a legend. =D

Short but sweet.
I'll leave a longer more filled out one when i can think of what to say.
Hopefully soon.

Choke,. [10 Aug 2005|01:30am]
Nostalgia caught up on my.
Of the real tangable type.
I hate it and wish it would go away.

I have no one to talk to anymore...

(2 Broke the Mould Individuality)

Its safe to say the price i pay is too much for me to handle. [04 Aug 2005|01:09pm]
So, its been a few weeks since my last entry and i still kind of feel the same way since then.
I did almost vow id get on with things, and to a certain extent i have. But now things are back to normal, and everything is back in place, i dont think i can, not for now anyway. Its not a nice feelign to have, this feeling that i have now, and some parts of me wish it would stay, but others wish it would just leave me alone.
I know im making no sense, unless you know what im talking about.

Not many plans for the next couple of weeks, a gig on friday with dan, and maybe a generation with him if he still wants me to go, but thats it unfortunately.

Leeds Festival is looming and i cant wait, it will be excellent.

Choices made, minds deranged, i dont want this, my life is frayed. [18 Jul 2005|05:50pm]
Can i turn back time now please?

I dont want this, this is the last thing i wanted. =(
Cant it be any different!>?!?!?

Its all fucked, and i want it different.
We cant have everything we want, but, well, this time it should be different.

<3 It's still yours. =(

Its out, its open, im stabbed, im broken. [07 Jul 2005|11:02pm]
Why am i always left in the dark.
I want to know so much, but its just not happening.
Its nice to feel shut out sometimes. Isnt it? =S

Ha, im so fucking pathetic.

If i were you and you were me, Id want you and you'd want me. [24 Jun 2005|11:57pm]
[couldnt fit this into the subject bar]
I know in hindsight its easy to see, that this is my broken philosophy.

Today, i have been feeling surprisingly good. Things have seemed to be that bit better, obviously things could improve, and im guessing its easy to imagine how things could be made better, so yes, mehe, heres for hoping.

Its now official, myself and Dan have the best media project ever. We have to film a music video for the song of our choice. As of yet we havent chosen a song, so if any one you guys have some suggestions then they will be greatly appreciated. And also, if anyone on my contacts list happens to know of any frame editing software, names of the programs will also be appreciated, lolol.

I dont think i really have much else to update on to be honest, school has started again and is so far seemingly going pretty well and it muchos funos what with all of the practical work we're doing.

We have began to read 'The Wasp Factory' in english which so far is a really good book considering i already know the twist at the end. [Frank, the main character and narrator who appears to be male, is in-fact a female] sorry for ruining the ending for anyone =P. And to quote Leviticus "My god ...the buggers've learned to fly".

Nothing interesting will come of this weekend i dont think apart from filming since people dont have any money etc etc, but im sure next friday [The Prom] will make up for things as it should be a really really really really really really [you get the picture] fun night.

-6 days until the prom.

-13 days until Nine Inch Nails.

-27 days until InMe.

-62 days until Leeds Festival.

In other news, i have no news, and i wish i could bore you for a little longer, but i cant unfortunately.
So Long and Goodnight, So Long and Goodnight.

Review, Evaluate, Fall apart. Review, Evaluate, Back to the Start. [22 Jun 2005|10:46am]
Felt like an update, as of yet i dont know what about, but im sure i'll think of something to bore you with.
So so so so so.....

- I have finally finished all of my exams, which can only be a good thing to be honest because they were really stressful, what with revision day in/day out which was completely weighing me down and just basically putting a downer on everything else. But i think most of them went pretty well, so August awaits on that matter.

- Last Friday Myself, Gem<3, Jenks, Dan, Lexi and Craig [for a short while] went on our usual drunken outing to our ritual Tettenhall field, which as per usual had its antics. Resulting in lexi throwing up, a bench being stolen and hid in a forest, a big chalk board from the pub being stolen but the perpetrators consequently being caught in the act and shouted at from afar and chased. A few other things such as candle holders were taken, and it was alllll in aid of fun, which is was!!

- Nine Inch Nails in 16 days.

- The Prom in 9 days.

- I think someone [namely Mr Jenkins] is organising a trip to the sea-side in the next few weeks, which should be a welcome bit of fun and change from routine, so imma looking forward to that most definately, so anyone who reads this that is interested let Master Jenkins know of it, muar har har.

- Currently attempting to write a CV so i can hand it in to the Little Civic on Saturday providing they still have the opening in the box office, which i hope they doooo. Not that i'll get it, but meh, its worth a try i guess.

There is nothing else really that springs to mind. Nothing that id like to write in here anyway. So until next time.

(6 Broke the Mould Individuality)

Ironic as it sounds, this mystery's renound, to set alight the ground for everyone to see. [09 Jun 2005|08:00pm]
So, i know officially have 2 exams left.
I had my 2 media exams today which i think went pretty well, which obviously is great.
Only my 2 Law exams left, and well, these are the 2 im least looking forward to. So it looks like im going to be revising for the next few days.
There is nothing else really i can update on.

But, sometimes, dont you just wish all the answers, for exams, for life, for anything, were all laid out simply in front of you?
I do.

Same from from this solitude, the hurt, the burnt, the crude. [05 Jun 2005|05:57pm]
I got tagged by a few hundred million people to do this thing.
One being Gem <3. dreamyfairygirl

Six songs I like at the moment
(in no particular order)

Hot Hot Heat - Dirty Mouth
Interpol - Evil
Miocene - Cellular Memory
At The Drive In - One Arm Scissor
Opeth - Hope Leaves
Orgy - Platinum

I think everyone in my friends list has been tagged to do this.
If not and you see this and feel bored, feel free to do it =P.

(4 Broke the Mould Individuality)

Everclear? Its never clear, a million steps forward yet im never near. [02 Jun 2005|12:06am]
Where to begin?
Ok, so the beginning.
I had my remaining psychology exams and all of my english exams last week. And im assuming that i did pretty well in all of them, fingers crossed, i think, i hope. Lol.
To get over the said exams me, Gem<3, alex, jenkins and danyul went on another drunken outing in Tettenhall, which yet again, was funnnnnn fun fun. Taking green pictures of people, wrapping people up in toilet roll, and getting wrapped up in toilet roll is always good clean fun, lmao. Then getting lost in the woods =P. The whole evening was cooool to be honesttt.

Everything since then has been, well, crap and boring.
Sure its been productive what with the whole, days full of revision. But when it gets to 3 days full of revision and not leaving the house once, then it gets slightly frustrating and meh.

Here is for hoping that the next few days [and the next few exams] go ok. And maybe contain a little more excitement than the last few. *crosses fingers*

Nine Inch Nails

You can also fill this thing in for me if you want, but if not or you cant be bothered, then thats good also.

1. Who are you?
2. Are we friends?
3. When and how did we meet?
4. What was your first impression?
5. Do you still think that way about me now?
6. How well do you know me?
7. Describe me in 1 word.
8. Give me a nickname and explain and it.
9. What reminds you of me?
10. When was the last time you saw me?
11. If you could give me anything what would it be?
12. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't?
13. Are you going to put this in your journal and see what I say about you?
14. What do you think of my journal?
15. Tell me something pretty?

From the mind of Rob.

Wow. [23 May 2005|10:09pm]
I havent written properly in here for absolutely ages, a scarily long time in fact.
Scary due to the amount of things that have been going on in my life in the amount of time that i havent posted.
Exams, so far i have had 1 which was psychology, and it had to be THE easiest exam i have ever done. I have like 9 more left [3 english, 2 more psychology, 2 media and 2 law] and im reasonably confident =D.
Last Saturday me, gem <3<3 and some of my best friends got quite drunk and it was one of the funniest times i have ever had, it was uberly cool and fun, what with people rolling down hills =P, and lots of funny conversations, lmao, FUN.

Next few days for me includes revision, lucky me.

1) Total number of films I own on DVD/VHS:
Ones which are actually my own, probably about 65 DVD's and another 80 or 90 Videos.

2) The last film I bought:
Layer Cake and Snatch box set.

3) The last film I watched:
The Fifth Element.

4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
Little Nicky, Snatch & Lock Stock, Blow, Donnie Brasco, From Hell, Pi, Requiem for a Dream, basically my whole DVD colection, since i only buy DVD's which i love.

5) And five more:
Ichi the Killer, Battle Royale 1 & 2, The Grudge [Japanese version], Finding Neverland.

6) Pick on five people and have them put this in there journal:
Anyone who wants to really.

Thank you for listening =D

Gem = <3

oO_'+2 [10 Mar 2005|10:00pm]
So, i've found out some more bands are playing which i cant see because im on stupid holiday [Florida].
This holiday is becoming more and more tedious as time goes by, getting in the way of so much.

1st of all there are 3 of my favourite bands which i cant see because im on holiday;
The Futureheads
Hot Hot Heat
Coheed & Cambria.
That sucks BIG TIME.

2nd of all, it doesnt exactly clash with my exam dates, but its really damn close, which will leave me with minimal time to revise, unless i revise whilst im there which is what im planning to do. But this majorly sucks as i'll have around 2 weeks when i get back to revise, which isnt enough, so if i fail anything i will blame this holiday. Grrrr.

Lastly and probably the worst, is that i miss Gemmy's <3 birthday. =( Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Went to see The Mars Volta with Sam yesterday and they were amazing. We decided to go to Birmingham early to get some lunch from the food loft [which is Uber cool] and on the way around there we passed the huge HMV in birmingham and found out Idlewild were playing a secret gig that afternoon in there, so we stayed for a while to watch those guys for a little bit, im not a big fan so we left after about 10 minutes.
We then went to the Academy and saw The Mars Volta, who were IMMENSE. The whole set only stopped once, they played like 8 songs all merged into 2 huge solo's. Amazzzzzzing!!!!!!!!!!!
Take the Veil, Televators and The Widow were the best songs, if you could call them individual songs in the set.

The last event of the past week i have to talk about is that i got my Law as level result back.
I got a C, methinks its a high-ish C but im not sure.
Its a pass, and an ok pass at that, but i know for a fact i can do far better since i got an A in my mock.

So here is the dilemma.
Should i;
Do the retake in the summer at a minimal cost which i dont mind [and in the process risk 3 units of revision for nothing].
Stick with the mark i have.
Answers would be appreciated, i know its my decision, but sometimes a little outside help if good.
Thanks in advance eh.

You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.

Got Nine Inch Nails tickets.
Me, Gemmy <3, Laba and Ellis spent 2 and a half hours in the queue waiting in the snow and rain and general coldness but it was fun all the same. Playing word association and the like.

[Laba i hardly ever see you on msn, so i thought id ask you in here, so can you bring my money to school on monday? please. Thanks.]

We then went into the disney store and took photos of laba in a fez, and ellis and gem fighting as Buzz Lightyear and the red Power Ranger. Which was hilarious.
[Will try and post these pictures soonly]

Weezer have pissed me off charging £23:50 per ticket, ARGH!!!!!!

Does anyone who reads this know much about bass guitars?
If so, do you know if MIDI pickups can be fitted on a bass?
For that synth goodness.
