Moving on... I've returned from my sojourn in South Florida, where I ate and slept. I also took a quick propeller plane trip to Tallahassee for work, which was not too fun. Saw portions of tons of movies while at my parents' place, generally things I'd seen before (mostly thanks to AMC or Spike): Dr. No, From Russia with Love, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, Die Another Day (yes, there was a Bond marathon on SpikeTV), Casino, Lethal Weapon, Lethal Weapon 2, The Shootist, probably more I'm forgetting. The only things we watched in their entirety were Goldfinger and Fargo, which are both great of course.
My brother and I went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in the theatre. It wasn't as good as I was expecting. It was way too long and there was a useless framing device which hurt the flow of the story (and contributed to the length). The performances were good though.
I did also watch Le Samourai on DVD. This is a 1967 French film about an assassin, and it was very good, though a bit confusing.
