"Attention!" McGonagall clapped loudly. "Due to a most unfortunate accident," she glared pointedly at a clump of red-haired Gryffindors, "we no longer have a Sorting Hat. Instead, we've a Sorting Troll."

Whispers engulfed the Hall. Trolls were dangerous! And smelly!

"This troll is not a typical troll. He's wise, gentle, and smaller than normal." McGonagall frowned sternly. "Now, let the Sorting begin! Aneshka, Rupam!"

An Indian girl approached a lumpy burlap sack, from which emerged a small, aged green fellow - the Sorting Troll.

"Ah, brave you are. Wise too you are." He waved his tiny hand. "Ahh, Ravenclaw, you are!"

Disclaimer: George Lucas, etc.  Not mine.
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Characters: Qui-Gon Jinn/Obi-Wan Kenobi
Summary: Based on the following quote: Death ends a life, not a relationship. -- Jack Lemmon. 100
Notes: Written for tpm100

When all was said and done, all I was left with was the faint taste of him upon my lips and my half-hearted promise to train the boy. Before I knew it, he was lifeless in my arms and I was alone, wallowing in my misery and self-pity.

He's gone; without him there is no point in carrying in.

He comes to me sometimes in dreams, though, reminding me that he'll always be with me. As I loved him in life, I love him in death, for I know that eventually we will be joined again. Love, it seems, knows no bounds.
