La Casa de Papel Part 5A + One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

La Casa de Papel Part 5A wasn't as great as the previous ones. It was too war-like for my taste. I'm in it for the clever plans, not for people shooting at one another.

I liked that Miguel Ángel Silvestre (Lito in Sense8) made an appearance. <3

This show has queer male characters and a trans woman.

One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston (Red, White & Royal Blue) was great. August meets Jane on the subway. She quickly finds out that Jane's been stuck in time since the 70s.

This is a mix of romance, mystery and mild SF/F, so that was fun. However, I could really have done without the subway sex. Ewww!

Jane is Cantonese American. There is major f/f, minor m/m, a trans male character and a bunch of drag queens.
