Massive Attack certainly was a spiritual experience. Such a fantastic and colorful set. Bright lights and fog, it looked like a dream. They played in front of a huge screen that was scrolling names and news events and quotes from well-known people. It was quite inspiring. The crowd was weird to me. I felt like I walked into a time warp. I noticed a lot of Europeans speaking several different languages. Definitely didn't feel like I was in Chicago anymore.

Tonight, I'm going out with a few friends. I have the weekend off, so I might as well use it to my ability. I'm excited to enjoy this beautiful night. Speaking of beautiful nights, Chicago has been seeing some really lovely days as of late. Perfect Fall weather.

The sink is clogged again. Nothing works to unclog this stupid pipe. It takes me hours just to clean a few utensils and dishes. I don't want this damn thing overflowing. Ugh.

It's July. Probably my favorite month of the year. It's Summer. There's a lot of things going on. It's my birth month. There's just a lot of really good things about July. I'm afraid that my birthday will be the same as last year though, and that kinda scares me.

My dog of 12 years died yesterday. While I sort of expected it to happen, as he was having problems walking, seeing, and breathing, I still felt really sad. And still do.

This morning I went to the beach for about 3 hours. Got some much needed sun that has been lacking a lot lately. Yesterday, after Peace Fest, I ended up hanging out with Meghan as it was her birthday a few days ago. It was fun...interesting, to say the least, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Tonight, I'm going to this big, big party. I guess you could say it's a rave, since I don't know any other types of parties that go until 9am.

I was encouraged to send in an application to get a Burning Man scholarship ticket. I think I may just do that. It would be cool to go. I have always had an interest in going, and now that I've found a way to go for much cheaper instead of paying 300 bucks, I may just do that. It would be a good experience.

The only thing I will feel guilty about is leaving Anon by her lonesome. Wish I could take her with!

Has anyone been to Burning Man? Care to share your experience?

Yeah, I posted this pretty late. I don't know why I'm still up.

I'm tired and full and bored. Think I will go lay in bed with my sweetie.

I really want to go out tomorrow night after work, but I have no friends who would be willing to go. Dammit! When am I going to make new friends up here?! womp womp womp
