I was editing this post while watching "Blood Into Wine," which is a documentary about Maynard's (Tool) Winery. It's quite funny and interesting, so if you have Netflix, I highly recommend. Also, Tim and Eric is in it, doesn't get any better than that.

Siiigh, I have 3 days off of work. I better make these days interesting.

I'm planning on taking a trip out to South Carolina in a few weeks. John and I are going to visit his sister at school and go see OK Go while we're there. I'm super excited about it. Never been to any of the Carolinas. Should be a great experience, I'm sure.

October is looking to be a very, very busy month for me. I hope I don't get any crap for taking several days off. Besides, I deserve it.

I would really love to have my own business. Particularly with my group of friends. I've talked about this with them quite a few times and they always seemed interested in the idea of having a place where we can show and discuss artworks and music. I had always dreamt of creating an art gallery that offered more than showing artworks on the wall. Inside, I want there to be a small, quaint cafe area where we serve yummy coffee drinks and booze. I envision DJs spinning good music and local bands belting out their songs. I imagine a small shop where my friends and I sell all our drawings and paintings and photos, amongst other things.

I have many talented friends who participate in all forms of art. I think we would really be quite successful at this.

But, it's only a dream. In which, I hope, to turn into a reality.

My vacation week kicked off with a great start. Yesterday, it was the Gay Pride Parade. Today, I woke up and went out for breakfast with Sean and Meghan who spent the night. Meghan left for work, and Sean hung around for most of the day. Luke and CiCi picked us up and we went to the beach. We stayed there for quite a few hours. We made little sand castles that gained a lot of attention from the kids around us. Then, they turned me into a mermaid by burying my legs in the sand. I wish I had a photo of it to show you because it looked awesome.

After the beach, we went to the grocery store and picked up some items to make sub sandwiches. It was sooo delicious! Thinking about it is making me crave another!

Then tonight, I went to the Full Moon Drum Circle. It actually didn't happen Saturday night like I thought it was. When I had gotten there, it was completely empty. I was bummed, but oh well. Kris met up with me, while all my other friends flaked out on me, and he brought his drum which we played amongst the actual drum circle. He also brought these poi light balls and I did my best trying to swing them around. It was a fun and beautiful night.

I want to go out today, but I think I'm going to take it easy. Last night was fun, but we also suffered the effects of copious amounts of liquor in our system.

I still need a couch, or even a futon (but only with a wooden frame). I keep checking on Craigslist's "free" page, but everything seems to go so quickly. You have update that page every second if you want something good.

I just cannot wait until I get my tax return. I'm getting much more money than I ever expected. This will be nice.

There was an earthquake in Chicago yesterday around 4 am. I remember feeling a slight shake. I was sitting on my bed thinking a snow plow truck had gone by, but when I looked out my window, I saw nothing. Right then I knew it had to be an earthquake.

We also had another earthquake about 2 years ago. Once again, I was sitting in my living room, reading a book (2012: The Return of the Quetzalcoatl, actually, coincidence? I think not) when I felt a rumble. I thought it was a truck, since trucks would pass by a lot and shake our building, but there was no truck. Creepy stuff. No one seems to remember this one but me. Maybe it was because I was high, reading some intense stuff by Mr. Daniel Pinchbeck, and I was quite shook up, no pun intended.
