9:43PM - Assemblage 23 + RBN
OK, ' didn't quite make it to Assemblage 23 on Sat. The X-mobile had a lil' mishap on Holloway Road and by the time the tow-truck arrived the bands had all but finished. A couple of passengers did manage to scramble out and got there in time, they said it was a busy night ...
Guess this week shall be spent with a hammer and some touch up paint. Ho-hum :-/
It's Infest at the weekend. I hope the weather is a little nicer else Mr X will be an unhappy bunny on his motorbike. With all that's happened in the last few week, he ain't got himself any new hair either. So, Mr X shall be attending Infest with skanky 2 months old, half fallen out braids - Ewww.
Finally, Mr X's tan has faded. Right now he would rather be back in Portugal.

12:19PM - Easter!
Easter! Canon 350D, 17-55f2.8 I.S.@f4, ISO100
So it's spring, or maybe it's summer. It's going to be >20C this coming weekend, so that's pretty summery. I'm off to Dorset next weekend to take in some of the sun. ' not too sure what one does in Dorset though *shrugs*.
Last weekend was Easter. I spent it in Surrey with the family, which was nice. Popped up to Richmond on the Monday to find deer and flowers and ice cream and trees and stuff. A couple of weekendz back was the Texas Chainsaw @ Electrowerkz. It reminded me of Perversion - da usual gurlz around poles and other crazy stuff going on. The stage shows were rather fun - especially the anal electrocution. There were also bands and Punish Yourself were rather splendid. No photos that night, maybe next time ...
Other things: I made my Dad a pc out of left over bits, mainly; Duel Opteron 244's a Gig of RAM and a case on wheels... I have no hair, well no fake hair. Therefore, I cannot be seen in public. I have been told I must go out the weekend of the 21st, this is going to be a problem with no hair! I have had a week off work, this week I only work 1 day :-) My 3 month probation is up and I have a performance review next week :-( We won the footie 7:1 :-) I am eating soya bread ...

11:03AM - Whitby!
Frontline Assembly, Infest 2006. Canon 20D, 85f1.2 ISO800
No, not the pic, that was from Infest. It's the WGW this week/weekend and I've a space booked sharing a house with Rose etc. al. I've been working so early/late this last few weeks and have been so busy the rest of the time I've not had a chance to think about Whitby much. I can't even decide on how to get there yet! Do I take the car, which is warm and dry or do I take the bike, which is faster and costs half the price in petrol? Decisions, decisions ...

12:59AM - Busy bee
Common Blue, Canon 20D, 18-50f2.8, ISO200
So busy! Sometimes there aren't enough hours in the day. The pic was a quick snap whilst on a day out at the beach - in Surrey! By accident found a beach, complete with sand, sun bathers and people on boats at an inland pond in the middle of Surrey. It was invaded, not only by us, but also by hordes of damselflies, which was nice.
Cult last night were fab! Thanx to boglin for the tix :-)
In other news, I have become a www developer! I guess I should now go learn to snowboard or something...

7:07PM - ...
When vampyres attack. 20D, 85f1.2, ISO1600
...just a lil' pic from Fright Club last Fri. I see it's going to be a regular-ish thing, which is good. Although, it would be nice if Dreadnought didn't clash. I guess there's quite a lot going on in olde London town on Fridays which is nice and rather pleasingly there are enough people to go to each :-)
The rest of the weekend was hot. Sunday I rode over to Southend with the bike posse and swam in the sea. It showed me that even though I go out running each morning, I am still rather unfit. I'm sure I used to be rather good at swimming...

Swarf, Slimelight 10-06-06. 20D, 85f1.2, ISO1600
Click the pic for a full gallery. Pics taken a couple of weeks back @ their recent Slimelight gig.
OK, tonight! If I'm wanted to take pics of high fashioned Goths (including my housemate matt_the_mo) then I shall be @ Fright Night @ the LA2/Mean Fiddler. Otherwise I might pop out to Dreadnought. So, hopefully I'll see people somewhere.
...well, that's the weekend sorted then :-)
