Finally Finished!

I made this baby blanket for my cousin's baby shower, the shower was last weekend.  It's a 4 x 4 puff stitch-like blanket that I put a shell boarder on. Used Vanna's Choice Baby yarn, got the idea for the project from the Lion's Brand website but I modified it. Came out great and it was my first crochet blanket project that I've done.  It was also really great to get all the ooh's and aw's from the family and impress them with my crafty-skills. :)

i finally found my red sox sweatshirt!

Thank goodness for autosave.

So my charging dock for my Nikon Coolpix S1 has been MIA for about 3 weeks or so.  I have absolutely no idea where it could have gone.

Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase replacement charging docks for digital cameras? The battery in my camera is the type that isn't removeable/replaceable...thus why it uses a charging dock.

I hope I can find a way to charge my camera...or looks like I'm going to sell it online and get the $30 it's worth these days and upgrade to an newer Nikon....I really like the one Ben got for his birthday...but I like digitals that are a little slimmer and can fit in my pocket. :)

real post later...promise.

Just moved back to school on Friday...round 2 of my stuff was dropped off today. So now I have more unpacking to do. So far I'm loving living in a single. Wheelock is too quiet right now...friends move back Wednesday and Saturday! woo hoo! SENIOR YEAR?!?! when did this happen???

rainy day...boring

So I know I haven't updated in quite some time. I'm awfully bad at remembering to do so. About a month and a half ago, the night before I was to be staffing the LIP program up in the Lakes Region on NH....the transmission in my beloved Sunfire decides to shit the bed....on my way back to NH from Boston. Long story short -> I luckily bought AAA 2 days prior and had it towed from Bedford, MA to Nashua, NH where it was then deemed "in need of replacement".

In the meantime Ben's mother let me borrow her Trailblazer so I could get back and forth from Boston to Portsmouth. She's pretty much amazing and I would definitely had been without a vehicle if it weren't from her.

So during these past few weeks I've been saving up enough money for a down payment on a car and my aunts giving me some $ as an (really) early graduation gift. :) Yesterday I was back in Hollis for the day and went car shopping with my dad. And well, I ended up buying a NEW car. I was able to get a great deal with combined discounts, incentives, and 0.0% financing (that I got with my own credit!! See it was a good idea for me to get 2 credit cards after all!)

I bought a 2008 Ford Focus Coupe-S in Light Ice Blue...(it has a sparkle to it, that was the deciding factor of course.)

it's pretty much love...for the next 5 years. eeek!

Nov. 24th, 2007

I can't seem to find my ice skates.

And this makes me real sad because I really really really want to go skating on the Frog Pond ASAP!

and...I'm only home for another 30 mins...and then I won't be back until Winter Break.
Being my mom's designated driver and picking her up from her high school reunion at midnight and then heading back to Ben's house for the night. Back to Boston tomorrow until Tuesday morning...and then up to Portland for the Sugarland/Little Big Town concert Tuesday night. Back to Boston Wednesday for class at 4pm. And then back to Ben's house in NH Thursday night after my classes end at 9pm. Good times. :)

ok...gonna go continue the search for the skates...and pack up all the stuff that I found that I wanted to bring back to school with me.
