Stolen goods

Last night I horked a cute weatherpixie from bookish_theoric (see my user info), and today, this book quiz from anouck_grrl:

You're Prufrock and Other Observations!

by T.S. Eliot

Though you are very short and often overshadowed, your voice is poetic
and lyrical. Dark and brooding, you see the world as a hopeless effort of people trying
to impress other people. Though you make reference to almost everything, you've really
heard enough about Michelangelo. You measure out your life with coffee spoons.

Take the Book Quiz
at the Blue Pyramid.

I basically agree (poetic and lyrical? oh yes, you should read my Sinterklaas poetry!); however, since I am far from short but quite skinny, I would like to replace 'short' with 'slim' (as in 'a slim volume', get it?)

I rather like this quiz, because it depends on your answer what the next question will be. I took the quiz again, changing 'odd' to 'even', and ended up as... Collapse )

Pathetic...

So much to learn, so much to discover... This website is way too addictive for my own good. I've been here for the better part of the afternoon and all of the evening, even skipping dinner, so when I eventually got hungry it was too late to start cooking and I resorted to opening a packet of crisps instead.

I have looked at several communities and I noticed that some people ask politely if they can add someone. Oops. I hope it isn't bad netiquette to add without asking, I couldn't find anything about it in the FAQ. I have posted on forums before, but as I said, something like Livejournal is completely new to me. I don't mean to offend anybody, I just prefer adding people quietly, not drawing too much attention to myself, especially when I don't have a lot to show for it yet, and let people check me out if and when they feel like it (welcome, maldeluxx!).

Well, I should really logoff now. Fortunately I have the day off tomorrow. And I hereby solemnly promise not to spend it in front of the computer. (At least, not the whole day, anyway!)
