my day on earth

I'd like to come back as a pampered cat one day. What a life.

Yes, not bad at all!

Aw, I like this moment in cat-world. Can't get over how green things are too, don't see that here in winter.

Made me think of a scenario for the pic, that it really is a cat-world, no such thing as humans. Sassy (the orange cat) is leaving home to do a little shopping, and is met by Beth (the large black and white) and Agnes (the little black one). They all go off to the market together, and stop for tea and fish-cakes at their favorite cafe. *lol*

Don't you have shrubs that stay green in winter? (I have to add that we have only had a few cold days so far, it has mostly been autumn weather.)

I like your scenario! :D In reality it was very different, but Sassy is a good name for the orange cat. She did not seem at all intimidated by those crouching tigers, in fact you could tell she felt infinitely superior to those thugs. She won the staring contest and Beth and Agnes had to retreat (each going in different directions).

I stood watching the whole scene, coughing quite a bit because of the cold air and the aftermath of the flu, and then Sassy would look at me with an air of annoyed arrogance, "Do you have to make such a nuisance of yourself? We're in the middle of something here, would you mind taking your coughing elsewhere?"

Sassy indeed! ^_^

Most of the shrubs and hedges where I live are of the leafy kind - they shed their leaves. Some do stay green, those that look more like pine/fur type - sharp or needle-like leaves.

We had snow blitz the other day, about 8 inches of snow but it was extremely windy (gusting up to 50 mph), which made drifts by my house of 3 feet on one side.
