Like so many people, my life will someday flash before my eyes and I will have spent a huge chunk of it sititng and watching a flickering screen. I like to think that I'm being at least moderately productive if I'm writing while staring at that screen.
I've written for as long as I can remember. I started journalling on paper when I was 7, getting my hands covered in ink, and I've finally decided that it's time to move into the technological age. (But a lot of my thoughts still go down on paper -- where you'll never see them!)
I'm also a twenty-something travel-addicted Anthropology graduate who went into teaching. I've just survived my first year in the trenches (and my posting time went way down with the increase in responsibilities!). I've got dreams of someday being able to write seriously during summer vacation. Till then, I'll amuse myself by writing about my dreams, aspirations, frustrations and all sorts of other mundane details of my life. I like to think of this journal as a step in the right direction. I hope you'll be suitably entertained.
I'm a victim of the "travel bug," and have travelled with my family since I was a kid. Now that I'm older, I've done archaeology in South Africa, learned about my family in England, appreciated the gorgeous scenery of Scotland, taught in Thailand, and gone scuba diving in Borneo. I can't wait for the next adventure!
