Tears of laughter. And also, pain.

I have to say, I don't think you've truly lived until you've heard Jason Bateman tell David Cross:

"I can't see your nips. Get it up higher, bitch."

And then follow that up with a comment to someone off camera:

"And can we get them harder? Can we have the fluffer in?"

Not to mention hearing Michael tell George-Michael:

"How about a hand job? Would that relax you?"

Season 3 has the Best. Gag Reel. Ever!

Of course, wiping away the tears of laughter with hands you haven't washed yet after slicing onions? Leads to pain. I KNOW THIS NOW.

I don't get this new blue icon craze that's going around. I just don't find it pretty.

But then again, I tend to use a lot of purple, so maybe I shouldn't be one to talk.

I finally started capping my VM DVDs, beginning with the last two episodes since the disc was already in the DVD drive. I may have gone a bit overboard with the finale. But it's just so pretty! And Steph everyone needs picspam material.

Now I'm off to cap the first disc. And then I might jump around a bit, depending on the level of pain. *g*

I also pre-ordered the Serenity DVD today. Is it bad that I now practically feel entitled to download it? I mean, come on, I've waited years for this film and I've tried to see it, but another month and a half?! That's just not fair. There's no way I can stay unspoiled for that long, people are already getting rather lax about cut-tags.

Oh, and in case it wasn't obvious by the above paragraph, when Serenity was pulled from the international market, I'll give you three guesses which country didn't get a cinema release. And the first two don't count.

Still bored. I resort to spam.

It's been about a month since the fall season really got under way, so I thought I'd do a recap of what's what and what's not. Viewable, that is.

(I'm just looking at this site, I can't really be sure they've got everything. But I think they do...except they don't have foreign shows, like Hex.)

HOLY CRAP, that was long. And rambly. Oh, and I wonder when Scrubs is returning...

Faaaabulous, darling!

A day of fabulousness...

Also, I got tired of talking about rewatching Felicity and never getting around to it because the DVDs are apparently never going to be on sale, so I set about "obtaining" the episodes in another way. I started with season 2, and DUDE! Average speed: 143 kB/s. Right now: 198 kB/s. I do adore my Internet connection.

Okay, so not so much with the spoilers there, don't even know why I bothered to cut it.

All this Firefly quotage on my flist reminds me: I won't be seeing it until November 11th at the earliest, so if you're on my flist and you're planning to talk about movie spoilers openly in your journal (yes, even a month and a half after the premiere) without cutting would you mind telling me so I can take you off my reading filter? And if you spoil me I'll shove you in Serenity's engine. (A vague disclaimer and all that jazz...)

Take out the trash day

The following is a bunch of stuff I keep meaning to post about but always forget.

I think Duncan is pretty. I used to think he was prettier than Logan. The problem is that that's pretty much all he is. He does nothing for me, I don't connect with him at all. And yeah, I think it's a failing of Teddy's, so sue me. If Jason can make me care about a psychotic jackass, I'd expect at least that much from Teddy who's playing an actual likeable character. But no.

However, if he had the charisma to match those looks he'd be lethal.

That said, the scruff does nothing for me. Everyone who's all "guh" about Duncan!Scruff gets a big ole WTF?! from me. I think it makes him look creepy and slimy. Now Logan!Scruff on the other hand...

I went to Sparklies and saw this icon by Regina and I had to share because it's pure genius. Collapse )

I ordered Gilmore Girls season 4 a month or so ago, not really checking out the specifics because I just assumed it would be widescreen because that's the first season I've seen with widescreen torrents. But it's fullscreen! GAH!!!! Why do they have to deprive us of all that space? Just think of all the icon crops you won't be able to do.

Tonight is the mother of all scheduling conflicts. Four episodes of Arrested Development (first four of season 2) are airing on FOX and two episodes of Veronica Mars (Pilot and An Echolls Family Christmas) are airing on CBS. I don't know which to plug. *tears hair out in frustration*

Okay, so maybe I do because I don't think anyone should start AD in the middle. Get thee to the closest place that sells DVD sets and pick up season 1 today. You won't be sorry. (I've been reading about Target having it on sale for 20 bucks!) And if you can't wait for season 2 to arrive in stores on October 11th (same day as VM season 1!) I'll totally upload the episodes for you.

So everyone watch VM on CBS tonight!
Heh, like you're going to listen to me at this point anyway.

I think I may love this icon in a manner that's not entirely healthy. Oh YoSaffBridge, will I ever see you again? (FYI, spoil me for Serenity and DIE! I won't be seeing it until November. *sob*)
