She Couldn't Be Happier

I'm supposed to be working on my resume and job applications. Obviously, I really don't want to do that at the moment, so I'm procrastinating - and where better to procrastinate than LJ?

I've decided to read as many books as possible this year. I'm at 5 already, and halfway through #6 (I Am Legend). #5 was A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray, which Megan absolutely hated, but I absolutely loved. Although I can see why she hated it.

I've been sick the past week. Actually, for the past 10 months. Yaay MRSA! But it turns out that this past week I've had Drug Fever because apparently the Infectious Diseases doc didn't check to see if I'd have drug interactions with the new antibiotics. These ones are used to treat TB, the last ones were for malaria... I don't have those, but they like to give me antibiotics that are insane. Just to make my life a little more interesting. Anyway, the interaction? Causes the levels of Provigil in my blood to be elevated. This wouldn't be a big deal - but I'm on 6 times the recommended dose. Apparently, they got so high that it made me sick and instead of having crazy amounts of energy, they gave me crazy high random fevers and insane fatigue. Boo. On the upside, we think they may have worked.

Blah. OK. Really, time to work now... as soon as I look at ICanHasCheezburger...
