Bad action films made me who I am

How bad does this look?

How much will I totally be seeing it?

Don't pretend that Conan the Barbarian wasn't an important part of your childhood! ...or maybe that was just mine? You know... looking back on it... Arnold Swarchenegger really was quite involved in my formative years: Terminator(s), Predator(s), Conan(s), Total Recall (which SCARRED ME, If you're reading this, mother!)

But this Conan is different. Because this Conan is Jason Momoa and I want into his pants. Like every sane person should.

Does this mean I can stay the kid?

I talked to my little brother on the phone today. In my mind he's seventeen still but he's turning twenty-one in March. It's all wrong. He sounds like a grown up man-person and he's about six-four apparently.

He and his girlfriend have been together for five years in April, and he told me he's going to propose then. They're also trying for a baby.

My face = :O to every single thing in this post.

Although he's apparently a big BSG fan which means we have something in common for what might be the first time ever.

Last night was the KAOS First Party. Meeting went great and was quite amusing, so props to all involved in that. The party itself was great as well. I'm not all that eloquent at the best of times and this morning I'm sort of hung over so that's all you're getting from me on that.

Some of the first years need a firm smack about the head though. There were two separate groping boys, one of whom had to actually be forcibly shoved away from me and told to fuck off before he got the point. Was also approached by another who said I looked like a dodgy kind of slut. Thanks but no thanks, mate. Fuck off and die, preferably painfully, and keep your hands off me.

But, yes, other than boys being boys there was much fun to be had. The LFoD took Jen's friend Alina along and she seemed to enjoy herself. She was looking for some geeky friends so who better to introduce her to than KAOS?

The plan for tonight is (more than likely) this and then dragging ourselves out of bed early enough tomorrow morning to go see Hera at the arts centre since Alison has become obsessed. We might even have nachos. Mmmmm, nachos.

The plan for right now though? zomgtea.

Circe says:
i didn't clean my room la la la
Alison says:
i knew you wouldn't. I knew today would be a "everything from the floor goes onto the bed till you want to sleep and then it'll go on the floor again" kind of day
Circe says:
waaa.
Circe says:
it's an inefficient system
Alison says:
it is
Alison says:
you should try my system
Alison says:
i don't move anything ever. it works well.
Alison says:
cept i don't know where my proper pajama pants are.

In other news: The line up for the Victoria's Secret show sucks big time. It's like they decided that last year they had too many attractive women walking and had to do something about it. So they took them out the back paddock and shot them. Now it's just boring unattractive models. Yes, I do care. Don't mess with gorgeous half naked women. It's a workable system right there. (I'm being over-dramatic. There are still a few gorgeous girls, but heaps of my favourites are missing.)

I get to go to my dad's for his birthday party at the end of this month, and I say yay! And I might be going home for a week at Christmas, which is another yay! I like visiting parentals. It's made of good.

'CF update' that will do for the title.

Alright, what shall I write about Canturbury Faire while I wait for my hair dye to be set. (Or whatever it is that hair dye does in your hair.)

Basically, the most important thing is this: CF rocked the party that rocked the party.

There were a few things that kept coming up in our very random conversations. Baron Saturday, Chuck Norris, random Finnish cries of 'pie please!', a billion jokes about 'the second coming', and 'roundhouse your shit up' being the main ones.

I drank in excess and haven't laughed so hard for a very long time. In fact, spend almost ALL of CF laughing.

And once Peter gets here we're going to watch the video that got filmed out there which should involve so much hilarity.

Snogged seven people. Wasn't even a KAOS party.

I have the best friends in the whole entire world. I love my little group for it is awesome.

I'm terrible at writing down things that happened. I'm just going to go back to the beginning and say 'Yay! CF! Oh god, teh ROCK!'

Ahem. Now, at some point, I must catch up on all the writing I need to do and, just possibly, have a cup of tea because I haven't had any since I left!
