My Friends - Sweeney Todd OST "Splendours you never have dreamed all your days will be yours."
Longing Horizon - Battlelore "I can sense the passing time" Female fronted Lord of the Rings themed metal. This is gorgeous. (Light on the growling for those who aren't fans of it.)
Madraykin - QueenAdreena "Let not your hold be so tight / She'll return in the morning if you give her the night." One of the few songs from the band that doesn't have screaming and just remains light and pretty.
River - Sarah Mclachlan "Oh I wish I had a river I could skate away on." A cover of the Joni Mitchell song.
Hey Jupiter - Tori Amos "Hey Jupiter, nothing's been the same."
Faraway, Vol 2 - Apocalyptica "Don't you slip away from me / it's you I love for, don't you leave" Featuring some lady singer but I can't for the life of me remember who it is.
A Day in the Life - The Beatles "I read the news today, oh boy / about a lucky man who made the grade." My current favourite of theirs.
To Die For - The Birthday Massacre "If you can keep secrets then I'll tell you mine."
Speaking of music, The Smashing Pumpkins are going to be in Christchurch.
If I see Billy Corgan I'm going to strangle him with my ZERO shirt until he apologises profusely for destroying the memory of my favourite band.
Every band I want to see is far away and makes me sad and the one evil band I want to stay far far far from me is going to be in my city. The unfairness of this situation cannot be put into words >_< (Even worse is that Queens of the Stone Age is opening for them, a band I might have actually tried to go see were it not for bloody treacherous Corganhead.)
