If everything is supposedly working out and moving forward and all that, then why am I so depressed?

I am depressed too Holly. It's almost to the point where it's going to get really ugly.

Has your anxiety been bothering you too?

Because the big changes are stressing you out (google a list of most stressful things in life) and because while you're moving forward to great new things, you're also saying goodbye to great old things. Just a guess. :-P

I think it's the fact that you're leaving a town, house, and job you really love, where all your family lives. It is totally understandable to be depressed, don't beat yourself up more by asking why you're so depressed.

I am guessing you'll be sad for awhile until you settle into a pattern and find new things to love about your new situation.

That doesn't help a lot, but I got a lot of Zoloft if you need any :)

Because it still really hurts that it things aren't working out the way you had hoped. Being sad, upset and depressed doesn't mean that you don't still have hopes for tomorrow--you are allowed to mourn a little bit! Not to mention how unsettled your life is right now!

Sorry to hear you're so depressed. :( Maybe it's a reaction to all the upheaval you're going through, even though things are moving forward. Here's some **more hugs**. I hope they help.

No answers here, only *HUGS*

You're strong and smart and wonderful. You have a great support system and lots of people who love you and will help you in any way they can. It may not feel like any of that is true right now, but it is.

You're going through a lot of big changes, and facing a lot of uncertainty. It's hard to deal with that even when you know it's moving "forward", it's still the unknown. *hugs*

oh holly!! you've had so much going on lately... and it seems like nothing has come easy. you're moving away from your family... your home... and starting over... and that's scary!!! just remember that everything you're doing is to make a better life for you & andy (and monty, benny, una & gage!!). give yourself some time... i'm sure you'll start to feel better once you're more settled.

if nothing else honey...

Sometimes that stuff can be so inexplainable. I hope those feelings go away soon. Maybe your mind wasn't ready to deal with depression when you were in the thick of all the commotion?

Massive, simultaneous life changes, combined with enormous stress?

I also diagnose you with low levels of snuggle-tonin. You require more quality time with Andy and the doggies for treatment.

I am thinking of you. *hugs*
