AN INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH SUMMER
Tuesday, May 20 : Guitar-Industrial deliciousness, with a side of Metal!
$8 in Advance, $12 at the door, with a free DVD with every ticket!
Neither techno nor metal, Insurgent combine techno beats and industrial themes with the caustic power of raw electric guitars. The samples come from jam sessions recorded with guest musicians, met during various trips around Eastern and Western Europe, Asia and North America.
The band released its first full length album in 2001. Written by Stef Caron, Raf Maliba (Angry White Mob) and Jamison Cant, the album is a collection of foot-stomping anthems and down-tempo, brooding walls of sound. Their unique sound hammers out a cathartic blend of harsh electronics, powerful rhythms, and layered guitars. The songs deal of love, loss, devotion and defiance, painting a rich sonic landscape.
Special Guest: DJ Alice!
Tuesday, June 3, 2008 : Industrial vs Punk Rock -- Fight!
$10 in Advance, $14 at the door.
Left Spine Down
Hailing from Vancouver, LSD fuses the sounds of Industrial, Metal, Punk and Drum & Bass. The band features Jeremy Inkel and Jared Slingerland of Front Line Assembly and Denyss McKnight of Vancouver Punk legends The Black Halos. They've recently shared the stage with The Birthday Massacre, Combichrist, DOA, Genitorturers, SNFU, and Chemlab, in support of their upcoming full-length debut, produced by Chris Peterson (FLA, Noise Unit), and mastered by Shaun Thingvold (Skinny Puppy, Strapping Young Lad).
While happy to be labeled as "Industrial", "Synthpop", "Electro-Goth", or whatever sub-sub-sub-genre is marketable that week, the sound of Encephalon crosses many genres. With epic choirs, thundering basslines and infectious vocal, rhythm, and synth hooks, Encephalon live is an intense, high energy-electro-punk-tweak-fest that you don't want to miss.
Combining symphonic melodies, dark ambient overtones, abrasive drums, and raw samples, H-427 bring electro-industrial mayhem to the stage!
Special Guest: DJ Gir!

16Volt (Featuring KMFDM guitarist Steve White)
Founded in 1991 with the mission to merge the raw guitars of early punk with the heavy beats and energy of industrial dance music, coldwave legends 16volt took the industrial and alternative music scenes by storm, including a coup where they captured the coveted #1 and #2 positions on Rolling Stone’s alternative charts. Their first tour since their 2002 tour with KMFDM, the current line-up of includes members of PIG, KMFDM, Chemlab, Daniel Ash Band, and SMP; promoting their current release on Metropolis Records, "FullBlackHabit".
Melding elements of classic Wax Trax!, coldwave, drum 'n' bass, rhythmic noise, IDM and heavy metal to create a unique sonic assault, Cyanotic quickly became our most requested act to book live after their performances at the last Dark Carnival. Hot off the success of Transhuman 2.0 and a touring with Chemlab and DJ? Acucrack, Cyanotic is back to tear shit up.
Since 1996, Bella Morte have been infusing gothic rock with their love of other genres: Darkwave, 80s punk, deathrock, and various dark electronics. Their most recent release on Metropolis Records -- Bleed The Grey Sky Black -- is heavier than anything Bella Morte has released before, reaching number one on the Metropolis Records preorder sales list.
