Top 5 Whisky's for the Slodgemeister

I can't really rate them in order particularly as each has different qualities, but I'll try.

1. An unknown whisky I had on one of my trips to scotland, bought for me by a friend and I can't remember what it was for the life of me.
2. Glenmorangie - Probably the best of the more widely available single malts in my opinion.
3. Laphroaig - More highly rated by a lot of connoiseurs, its good, but doesn't suit my palatte particularly. I may just be a heathen of course.
4. Talisker - If memory serves.
5. Glenfiddich - A good backup to Glenmorangie though the quality varies a great deal in my experience.
