Anyway, I like Jewel and Cash a great deal, though thank God I have no desire to slash either of them. Not even despite narrator-Darl's tendency to go on about Jewel's and Cash's wet shirts clinging to their lean frames in the rain or the river, and Jewel in his underclothes in the barn, and Cash's glistening sawdust-flecked arms under the lamplight. No desire to write slash at all. Nope.

No, actually, I don't. But I don't expect you to believe me.

So anyhow... Thoughts, anyone?
