Of all the things that appear to you after dreaming about a computer-advised military dictatorship toppled by rebels..

A possible RPG setting with Earth. Say that Earth (the one we're on now) is on the equivalent of the prime material plane. But there's no magic here! Easy; it's either been shielded deliberately or is so far from the energy planes (contrast to places that are so close that if you say you're a certain person enough times, that person appears out of thin air), so very little magic gets through, even if the shield isn't perfect.

Now you can explain the unexplained too. Unidentified flying objects or psionics? They're traces of the little magic that does get through.

(I may not be completely honest here, but oh well...)

I dream of so many odd things...

like this time, when I was in an artificial reality built by an AI to investigate the human condition, and the streets in the city had names like "Commando".

Huh?

Okay, seems like I got really weird dreams last night.

Let's see, we have a court trial. Nothing too odd about that. But for the defense, there's me, Bax, someone I knew in school (who now studies English, I think), and a Scandinavian expert on magneto-optical drives. Wait, it gets stranger still! The prosecutor is Benny Blanco (from this movie), complete with his trademark red and purple clothing, and for witnesses we have, well.. Dewey and Louie (who both looked really grimy), and Gus Goose, and some other magneto-optics guys.

Huh.
