So... I'm 20.
All it pretty much means is that I can finally shed the "teen" from my age. I outgrew it about 5 years ago anyway.
happy un-birthday to everyone else.
so. back from the grand canyon. which we didn't even really see. snow + wind = BITCH.
the trip was pretty much this:
drive. not really sleep in the car. drive. not really sleep in the car. drive. oh now i'm driving. snow. holy shit i just crashed the fucking car. cryyyyy. oh now ben's driving. drive. sleep. drive. bastard snow. wind. postcard and pictures from too damn far away. drive. driiiiiive. hahah ben got a speeding ticket. driiiiive. blizzard. home sweet fucking home.
but in between, i just have to say, i am a good road-trip-dj. :)
i need a shower.
It's my last day of work. :)
I'd write more, but right now I'm not able to focus on much.
I'm not at work today. I got up a half an hour earlier than I usually do for work so that I could get to the DMV to renew my driving permit. I didn't plan on renewing it at all, but I need it for identification for when I fly. It should be mailed to me in 7 to 30 days. I hope they get it right so I have it before I leave.
Then I went to get my blood tests done. 3 vials. Minor bruise. Apparently I'll get a call in a couple of days to see if I'm normal or not. Hah. Negative. I'm hoping all of my vitamin levels are where they should be and that my glucose wasn't too far off. Fasting for blood tests sucks, by the way, when you start to shake without breakfast. Hypoglycemiaaaaa.
I have to call the dentist's office later to see if I need to reschedule my appointment for today or if I can pay sometime after payday.
I talked to people today about our little roadtrip to the Grand Canyon. Sounds like it's going to be fun. :)
I'm off to nap. I'm crampy.
my flight to New York has been changed. Originally I had a nonstop flight from Denver to JFK, but I got an email from Expedia.com telling me that my flight had been changed and that I would be flying out an hour later and that I would have to fly to Atlanta first and then wait an hour for a connecting flight. I would arrive in New York about 4 1/2 hours later than I planned. Needless to say, I wasn't too pleased. I called Expedia and told them that I have a business meeting early ont eh day of my arrival and that the new flight they put me on wouldn't work. They found me a flight that leaves 8 hours earlier than I had originally planned, which means that I'll be in New York for an extra night. :) That works for me.
I was talking to Ben last night on the way back to my apartment, and we're going to plan a weekend road trip with a couple other people before I leave. Maybe to the Grand Canyon. Yay road trip. :D
My tv is gone, my bike is gone, my dvd player will be gone soon, and my bed too. Pretty soon it'll be just like when I moved in here, and I'll be sleeping on the couch and my computer will be on the floor. Ghetto.
I need some coffee and a shower.
In fifteen minutes I'm giving my notice at work.
My boss is so fucking intimidating.
Tegan and Sara were awesome last night. All I had was my phone to take pictures with, and it sucked, so I have no good pictures. Oh well. The girls were hilarious as usual.
I stayed home from work because it was a late concert. heheh. I love sleeping in until 11.
It's been a long day. Work is shit, I cried for half the afternoon, and I'm exhausted. I took a nap for an hour and a half, and I'm still tired.
I'm going back to bed.
