I was inspired today to create. I was inspired by my art history class, in which I have learned how to appreciate even the art I was most repulsed by when I first started looking into the world of historical art. When we learned today the history behind Dadaism and Surrealism, I was inspired by the whole anti-art concept behind Dadaism and my thoughts were provoked to such an extent that tonight I came home, indulged in a good conversation about historical art during a rousing game of Mario Party 2, and finally dove into a world of painting that I have not bothered to visit in a fairly long time. Today I was so inspired by the ideaology behind art as a whole that I decided to redirect my entire gallery exhibit towards a more Dadaist edge. Because of the inspiration I gained from learning about Dadaism and its concepts, I was able to make a piece that completely redirected my goals in aspirations in the world of art. Today has been an extremely inspiring day thanks to the genius of Marcel Duchamp and Salvador Dali, bless their minds, souls, and genius creativity.
Do art, my friends -- it makes you feel good.
