In your face, Joss!
Now that I got that out of my system... Hell, yeah. This should have been E02 or E03, expand things a bit away from the paradigm of dolls being used mostly for dating/sex. Being wealthy in the Dollhouse-verse (and of course everywhere else) definitely has its unique benefits. Ballard's subplot is also interesting. Depending on what we learn about the dolls' backstories, what's the deal with Alpha, and whether Joss planned to end the season in a stark mood, I give the ex-agent 1 in 5 odds of ending up as a handler or more.
Also, if Adelle thinks "Julie"'s case was a one-time situation, she's going to be severely surprised. In her Dollhouse? Maybe. Among all the others? Doubtful. With the higher-ups? Keep dreaming.
