As far as I know -and I could be wrong here- there's no reality tv show where seven clinically depressed people are taken off their meds, with the one keeping their life together the longest before going back to medication winning a big sum of money.

That surprises me, considering how much of reality tv is predicated on the overt attempt of making people entertainingly lose their shit on camera. And considering how happily would pharma companies bankroll the whole thing.

Anybody who can contact a TV producer for me?

"The Biggest Loser"? What's that? It sounds awful, but I've never heard of it.

It's a reality show where overweight people compete to lose the most weight. Like Survivor, but for the obese. It's horrible. It starts off with two teams (like Survivor) which both gives participants a sense of having a support group, and a sense of "I have to backstab my support group, and also, if I don't lose enough weight this week, they'll kick me off the show and this may be my only chance to actually work with a nutritionist on my obesity." The problem is only exacerbated when, halfway through the show, they abandon the teams and everyone is put into a single group, and everyone gets to (metaphorically) climb over each other to try to improve their (apparent) health the most, and thereby win the money. Not to mention the horrid implications of the name of the show.

The way I look at it, what's the point of losing a weight problem and gaining the whole money if you lose your soul doing it?
