Oh, come *on*

Just because a show made fun of the entire genre *and* media production industry, it's no reason to cancel it!

Will they bring SG-1 back if the puppets weren't really dead? Is now the fate of *two* galaxies in the hands of the Atlantis team? Does this have something to do with Vala's accidental attempt to sell Vancouver to Haliburton? How many more episodes do we get? Can they be all like '200'? What if they can save money on writers by filming fanfic? They'd save on clothes, too! C'mon. Please?

::sigh:: Well, as Avi said, it had to happen eventually. I guess we get whatever's left of the season, which is a fair amount. Maybe some of the SG-1 characters can occasionally go to Atlantis?

Um, I'm a little slow, I just got the "save on clothes" line. ::coughs:: Yes, that's true.

Yeah, hopefully there will still be some forward-porting of characters.

Or, you know, they might go with my "screw the writers, we have LJ" idea.

Wouldn't it be great if they ended the series with Jack grabbing Daniel, and going, "You know what? I've been in love with you for years. Let's go have some crazy gay sex, Spacemonkey!" They make out for about ten minutes, everyone cheers, roll credits.

As if.

I stopped watching that show, but I did, religiously, for years. So.. yeah. That kinda sucks to hear, regardless.

*hahahahaha* I bet *that* would get enough ratings at least for a TV movie later on.

Oh, the shitcockery of it all.

... still, it had to happen at some point. And it's not like they haven't been writing series finales every season for the past three years or so.

I'm not going to cry. Really, it's just allergies. Oh I'm so depressed.

There's still a good chance of them turning the decision around, right? Scifi is a fickle mistress and all that.

*crosses his fingers, but without much hope*

I mean, seriously, the studio was talking about another spin off just a couple months ago. And the TV Guide article about the crossover episode mentioned a potential feature film with the SG-1 and SGA casts. And MGM has mentioned they're looking at other networks. Stargate is like the zombie of scifi shows, you just can't kill it.

*lives in blissful fantasy world*
