The emergency in Gotham had been dangerous, messy and bizarre. Par for that particular course, really.
Cyborg waiting for him next to the cloning tube, on the other hand...
"I built this Tower, Robin, including most of its security systems. I can plug into the internal grid and feel the tower as I know my implants." Cyborg's smile was anything but friendly. "Imagine my surprise when I discovered an extra organ."
Robin walked past him and sat at the main console. "I'll keep that in mind."
"You should have consulted me first."
"Why? So you'd try to stop me?"
"No. So I could help you. Rescuing Titans from Hell is a tradition."
Robin whirled in his chair. "He's not in..." He rubbed his temples; he hadn't felt so tired and barely in control since his earliest training sessions with Bruce.
Cyborg approached and put a hand over his shoulder. "Get some sleep, kid. I'll stay here and monitor the process."
Robin went to sleep.
He had set up a bunk in the biolab just for that eventuality.
