Summary: In 2210, most of the known Galaxy is part of Colonial territory. Society has advanced far beyond its keenest dreams, but male Omegas are still treated as basically worthless and hidden away by their families. For the longest time, Dean Winchester thinks he is just that: a useless Omega whose only purpose in life is to keep his uncle Bobby’s junk-freighter working while his father tries to find the raiders responsible for Mary’s death. But anything changes after Dean, desperate and unhappy with his existence, tries unsuccessfully to kill himself – suddenly he has to face a new world far away from his father and uncle, a new group of people who want only the best for him, but most of all, he has to come to grips with the fact that he has never truly been an Omega but a subdued Alpha all along.

It makes me sad that ime didn't permit me to draw more for this. ladyamarra has such a beautiful way of writing and her world-building is excellent. Her Dean just makes me want to scoop him up and hug him tight.

a little of this, a little of that

⇒ So work has eaten me up and spit me out and I am now beginning the road to recovery armed with lots of fic and Tom Hiddleston on my dash. For all that I complain that I'm not usually busy, it's a real bummer when things do get busy and get really insanely busy. But anyway.

⇒ The pole dancing thing was incredibly fun! A little embarassing (I'm glad I knew everyone in the room) but very fun. I highly recommend it. :D We learned a couple of basic spins, slid down the poles, learned some sweet chair dancing techniques, and shook out our hair very sexily a lot. The instructor played Pour Some Sugar On Me as our last song while we put our "routine" together, lol. I have to say, though, my arms killed. They didn't hurt so much on Sunday, but I swear, by the time I woke up Monday morning moving my arms felt like the worst thing in the world. Even raising the hand brake in my car was painful. I had to lock my arm and yank with my whole body. They were still hurting something awful yesterday. D:

⇒ My author had to drop out of bigbangbigbang so I decided to drop out too. I will be cheerleading from the sidelines, though! Maybe I might sign up for avengersfest after all.

⇒ I read this a little while ago: Stranger Than Fiction by alphera. It's short and funny and basically mashed two fandoms that I love into one awesome thing. Basically, Loki is Sherlock and Mycroft's Mummy. :D :D :D

⇒ I need to catch up on a lot of things, mainly comments, recent fics, and pretty art.
