Double Tone, finale:
Ended on a neat - if predictable - note.
One thing: didn't understand why Tamura Yumi WOULDN'T retain awareness of Nakano Yumi,
since only the future was changed?
Unless the whole scenario was reset once the problem was solved,
but sigh can you say unnecessary. :(

東京の空 takes off all my rough edges.
Perfect song, perfect drama. ;;

Music Bank:
Oh wow M.jup just stole every single frame he was in (way kid moves is smouldering *O*).
The MV should've just been them dancing -
then it wouldn't even have had the /chance/ to devolve into an incoherent mess.
Also: Junhong rapping in CS like that kid we all know
who is too embarrassed to take his school play lines seriously lol.

ALL THESE OHNO MAG SPREADS :Q___ gotta catch 'em all

'While wanting to die, I read manga. While wanting to die, I choose the clothes I wear at the convenience store. While wanting to die, I piss and shit. I’ve clung to that house in the mountains all this time. I’m a person who’s like a slug. I cannot do anything even though I say I’m going to avenge my sister. I say revenge, but I still read gravure magazines as usual. I say revenge until night and sleep comes. Then I piss and shit again. Like a slug, I cling to the earth.. and crawl about the ground.'

Made some progress on my lit survey today - at long last.
/o//o/ (heh, I can't find the backslash on my Europe-configured keyboard)
Productivity, COME TO NOONA. D:

Soredemo, Ikite Yuku, ep 5:
This drama is an exercise in delicacy and gorgeous heartbreak.
I love how each time I return to it
there are new layers to each character to peel back,
new relationship dynamics to discover.
These people are so complex and fallible and hurting and REAL
that the simplest of scenes have me holding my breath for the fallout.

You know how Dramabeans rates series on two scales?
How objectively-good the rater thought they were,
and how much the rater actually liked them?
I love me my Hana Kimi's and Rich Man Poor Woman's
(and SPEC's, if we're honest about it) -
but Soredemo is in another league altogether,
be it in terms of acting, or scripting, or that OST (TOKYO NO SORA ;____;).
Ugh drama you break my heart.
