 Hi Mom's, 

My name is Susan, I'm a mommie of two great girls of tomorrow... Destiny and Faith 14 and 10.  Married to my BFF for 15 years and still in love... and we still even hold hands and kiss in public even though I've gained way too much weight over the years.... LOL...

I work at FedEX for a busy director as his Admin person.  Great benefits, etc.... love the boss, he's great.. he don't bother me nor I bother him and it works for us.... My family and I live in Arlington, VA  we are getting by like everyone else but, we love each other and are very close.... 

I'm looking for friends that love sharing their life experiences and enjoy learning about the Love of God and Heaven..... I know it's rough out there for SMoms, but, be patient, Father God is tearing a piece of his heart as we speak and molding it into the man of your dreams... just be paitient.  He did it for me and I was not worthy of someone like him, but, he gave him to me and when I look in his eyes still after all this time, I see the love he has for me in his heart.  

My girls are my life, but, you're Mom's too and if you're new at this, you're going to love the life ahead of you with your children...It's great.  Nothing better than this!  WE are so blessed, please remember this, because all women can't get pregnate, nurture a healthy baby, and give birth.  Only a handfull of us exsists.  Now, I don't know how God picks and chooses the Mommies or if the kids do it themselves from heaven, but one thing I do know is, I'm sure glad I was picked.

I hope to meet you all and become friends.... Until then, take care of yourselves, those little angels and your heart.  Those who have a husband, keep him well and love him alot and those who don't have one yet, prepare yourself and your house for him and keep your home pure and full of love.  What man (real man) wouldn't want that?  So, God Bless you and your family and I hope to hear from you soon.

So while out thrift shopping I spotted some nice canvas shoes originally from Old Navy for only $5
I've seen other people paint on their shoes, so why not try with a cheap pair and have some Kurt style shoes?

Sahm/wohm/wahm: I'm currently a Sahm, and would love very much to remain so, however due to financial difficulties I'm going to looking for a part time job a few months after Octavius is born. Just enough to get a little extra income and still be able to spend a lot of time with my family. I plan on breastfeeding again this time and would like as much time nursing as I can rather than pumping all the time.
Hobbies: Reading, sleeping, eating, shopping, etc. I love to read when I have time. The usual culprits are trashy romance novels but I've been trying to step out of the box. I'm currently reading a historical fiction called Katherine by Anya Seton. I haven't gotten too far into it so I don't know how it is yet. I really like to sleep, but then again, what parent doesn't feel that way. I often feel like I don't get enough anymore and that is about to get worse. ^_^ I also love food. I've recently gotten into cooking, even though I'm not that great at it and I often don't have a lot of time and supplies to do anything elaborate. My husband is also a cook in this house. In fact he's the one who's been doing most of the work in the kitchen. In the last two days he's made me two chocolate cakes. Only because we've shared with my mother so the first one got eaten super fast. Lol. Shopping isn't really a hobby, but when we have the money, I love going out the the malls and finding deals for myself and my family.
More about me: I'm generally very open minded. My political views are liberal, but I'm not completely opposed to the conservatives. Everyone has good points here and there. I don't often talk politics so you won't find that in my journal. My spiritual views are very open. I love to learn about religion. I have interests in Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Paganism, etc. I consider myself more spiritual than religious.

My journal entries are generally about my daughter and everyday living, so nothing really too exciting.

Hey Guys! I personally love love love looking through the older posts and seeing what everyone has ever done as far as displaying and custom framing of the Kurt pieces that you own. So for this posts, I would like anyone and everyone to post pictures of your collections, framed or not, what your most proud of, etc.

i noticed that there's a show planned for september-november at art star. it says "november 2009". this totally means the show is opening september of 2009. as in, not the september that's approaching, y/y?

because i think i got my hopes way up. boo.

There's a few more penguin drawings on ebay! Just thought I'd let people know. It's just typical that the time I finally find some, I haven't got the money to buy one. :( Snap them up while you can, though!!

I live with my father and I have a lot of Kurt things around the house and.. we were sitting around earlier just bs'ing around and we noticed something (that I've never noticed before...) -- none of Kurt's work have noses. Does he do it for a reason, does he know how to draw noses? I've been trying to get into painting and things like that, and I've just been wondering why certain artists do certain things. This is something I would've NEVER noticed if someone didn't point it out to me, because it's just the way that Kurt does it. He makes it look like they have a nose but without them physically having a nose. If that makes sense.

I just got my penny. My mom told me I had a package, and I raised home after work.

What did people/what are you doing, with your pennies. I really don't want to take it out of the packaging. But I will if I can think of a good thing to do with it. Right now it is in wallet, I am using it a good luck type of thing.
