*Who Am I?*
Hello, my name is Saheli. You can call me Shay and I'm Indian, in my late teens.

I love travelling around the world and have visited many places. I live in Singapore now and I do miss my home country that is India very much. I am about to go off to University next year. I am very fond of writing and I do write loads of things, poems, novels, short stories and even fanfictions.

My tendencies are to rant and rave about things that excite me or annoy me. You'd expect to find a lot of that in my LJ.

I am also into things like music and I play the guitar. I enjoy photography and I do take pictures now and then. Which reminds me, I will soon have to get a photo journal to upload all my photos. Or perhaps a Photobucket of Flickr account. I have a tendency to go on and on without stopping which may or may not bore you to death.

I'm really open minded about friendship so you can add me and I'll most likely add you back. However, I do expect you to comment on my journal as I'll do the same for you. It'd be nice if you could add me to your MSN or Yahoo or Google Talk so that I can get to know you better. I'm looking for genuine friends, so if you are here to just increase your flist number, then I'd say I'm not the one for you. I will do friend cuts to remove people who have hardly spoken a word to me since add me.

Other than that I'd say I'm a nice person and I'm sure you'll get along with me. :)

*This Journal*

This is my personal journal so you can expect a lot of real life rants and bitching. Once in a while I tend to post picturespam of my various fandoms (see below) and make comments on things I like. I do post some videos mainly from YouTube which I like sharing with my flist. I don't normally post my writing (i.e. Fanfictions) here because I got a new writing journal. You can friend it to get updates of what I write though I am a slow writer.

benitle has agreed to help me beta my fics but I don't want to put too much pressure on her. I'd really like to work with someone who has a good command of the english language and also is always willing to give constructive criticisms on my work. At the same time, I'm willing to beta fics for you too, so drop me an email. :)

Lastly, my journal is Friends Only, because what can I say? I am paranoid and I do not really like strangers reading my entries. Ask nicely, and I'll friend you back. But once again, the same rule applies. Friend me only if you are actually going to be friends.
