Wow, a bank holiday, and it is hot. This must be some sort of a record, blue skies, no rain, and hot hot hot. The neighbours children have been out playing all day, and if feels like the middle of summer.

Aside from that, I am considering doing a crossover fic, if the bunnies would just stay in one place long enough to give me an idea that could be put into words. The little flashes I get go no further than an idea that is in my head for about a second, then runs away, like a, well scared rabbit. *sigh* Oh well, will see if anything comes of it.

Now my MSN is not playing ball, and I cannot get onto it tonight!

Think I will give up, and have dinner.

All caught up on Season Three of Supernatural.

Season Two is still my favourite season at present, but have to admit the characters are maturing in Season Three, especially Sam. Love how much input Bobby has, but miss Ellen and Ash. Also, I really don't like Bella!

Sorry but up to Season Three, and still not seeing the Wincest, just two brothers for me. I do see the Jared/Jensen though!

I have a very elusive plot bunny for the prompt "Force" at open_on_sunday. It kind of brushes against my ankles, then runs off. Was going to be the fanged four, but so far all I have is a couple of lines for Angelus, *sigh*, and Faith keeps pipping up to hurry up, cos she should get a crack at that prompt.

I haven't been writing longer stories I know. I thought maybe I should explain why. I miss my betas. They have left the fandom, and I no longer have one. Yes, I could put out a call on my LJ if I write something and maybe someone would be good enough to help, but I enjoyed having someone more regular, that I could chat in IM with, and exchange ideas, move the story on with, and have something I could even give to an awards site. My muse is crippled down to a couple of 100 word drabbles for the prompt on a Sunday.....I cannot even say I have any ideas either, maybe I am just running scared from them. Then I keep jumping from the Buffy!Verse to Supernatural in my head. I also have this "thing" that when the creator, Joss, Eric or Russel, are continuing the story themselves, I do tend to sit back and let them. Just read or watch what they are producing.

I do not even join the Supernatural, Dr Who or Torchwood communities. For one thing to avoid spoilers (have even stopped buying the "Radio Times", because of spoilers), but also just so I can absorb the story as it unfolds.

Some of you might know, not many I guess, that I have a fondness for Spike helping the Scoobies for some reason in the early seasons. The pairing doesn't matter, I don't care if it has het or slash tones. I'm not really looking for underage. I have three that I read often. None of them really go above PG15. Or at least at present, one is a WIP, so will see where that leads.

These are the ones I have.

1) "The Hounds of Love", by speakr2customrs, Spuffy, set in Season Two here

2) "The Dhampir Series", by P'al Kwai. No real pairing. It has vampire Angel singlehandedly bringing up his Dhampir son Spike, the relationship is just a treat. Angel makes a great father. The story can be found here

3) "If I Were Souled", by kitty_alex, a new one, and is still a work in progress. Spander relationship, with hints of attraction. At the episode "The Puppet Show" at present. The story can be found here

Ok, so these are the sort of stories I'm looking for. No AU Human, and set in the Buffy!Verse season one or two. Any recs for me?

British Weather

Ok, in the past 15 minutes we had stone sized hail stones, thunder and lighting, with very heavy rain, and now back to blue skies and sun. Changable is not the word. Since Sunday, which was warm and sunny, yesterday which was wet, and changeable today, I wonder what my plants will do.

Buffy, Willow and Xander were doing a personality traits quiz as part of the assessment for careers day.

“What you got Willow,” Buffy asked.

“Plant, I’m an ideas person, and highly intelligent,” Willow responded.

“Yes that sounds right.” Buffy nodded.

“What about you Buffy?” Willow turned to her friend.

“Shaper, natural leadership.” Buffy looked at her friends

“That’s the Buffster.” Xander smiled.

Xander had seen the options and expected either fool or weak link. He was surprised at the Monitor-Evaluator outcome. They were also intelligent. He guessed there had to be some reason he survived so long as a Scoobie!

Spike remembered, when he was young, and his mother healthy, how she loved flowers. Of course in London, with the smog, they never lasted long, and always looked a little grey.

When he had been in Sunnydale, in love with the Slayer, he had often wished he could built her a beautiful garden. Especially when she was slaying, looking after Dawn and working at the Doublemeat, with her mother dead.

Now he was at Wolfram and Hart, corporal again, he had someone to plant flowers for. The beaming smile Fred gave him when he presented them was worth the wait.

Angelus loved to plant the seeds of destruction in his victims minds. Bit by bit he would destroy their minds, bodies, hearts, spirit and finally their souls. He looked at his masterpiece, his girl. With her sight, and plans to become a nun, the vicious vampire she was now was a delight, forever caught in his brilliant plans was a sight to behold.

Angelus had another victim in his sights now. Slayer she maybe, but he would be there, night after night, planting more discord in her life, secure that, with the face of her lover, she couldn’t destroy him!

That Plan Went Up In Smoke

My neighbour is going slightly mad with the hammer in the kitchen (a semi-detached house), so my plan to have a nice relaxing bath before meeting David for his birthday (we are going out), just went up in smoke *sigh*

Pizza Anyone?

Ok, a non-fandom post. What is the most disgusting Pizza you have ever seen or had? I am not the most adventurous when it comes to Pizza, my favourite still being a simple, well made, Margherita.

So, here is a list of the most disgusting Pizza's I have ever seen!

1) Deep fried Pizza at the fish and chip shop!

2) Pizza topped with kebab meat (one of my friends favourites, it is swimming in grease)

3) Seafood Pizza, I cannot stand the smell. I like seafood, just not when it honks to the heavens. The seafood has to be fresh!

So any other suggestions of Pizzas best avoided?

Oh grease up-sets my stomach, so I am really don't like anything too greasy! Not big on fish and chip shops or fry-up's for breakfast!
